"Lovely quirky room (Africa). Stayed with two dogs who each had beds, bowls and treats provided.. lovely bakery for breakfast where you could choose your breakfast items. Everyone very friendly and great pub (kings arms) opposite for evening food and drink. Perfect place"

Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! "The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant had a lot of dogs, which isn’t too good in a restaurant. The breakfast cup was very stained, so I had to get it swapped, but the food was very nice, with a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. "

"A beautiful remote property, situated in the countryside. 10 minutes walk to a lovely, award winning pub with stunning food and friendly staff. 15-20 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. The owners of this property, who live next door, were very welcoming and friendly. They've thought of everything, including a welcome pack of milk, bread and butter. There were a few other thoughtful treats but i wont spoil the surprise. Cleanliness of the cottage is definitely a 10/10. Cant fault...

"We had a lovely stay. The facilities and staff are all brilliant. The pool and lake was a bit too cold for us in October but will be back in the summer. We had lots of little walks, family game time and enjoyed the boat in the lake. Our dog was in heaven swimming every day!"

"I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!...

"A truly exceptional find this little gem of a pub hotel in a beautiful location in Norfolk. Stayed in a cabin and it was lovely, clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast options were very good we had the full breakfast which was excellent, the evening meal was delicious, the pies are out of this world. Can’t fault this pub and can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely stay there again. "

"Comfortable and cozy living area and very spacious bedrooms, this cottage is an amazing getaway. The large pond at the edge of the garden, with lots of fish was a winner for our two boys aged 8 and 9. We saw a kingfisher and quite a few amazing birds casually dropping by. The welcome biscuits where a definate treat and we will be returning. "
