We stayed for a week at Junglo. Gorgeous property but it isn't really a resort or spa. The property is stunning and the views are spectacular. The design of the rooms is modern and are more spacious than an average hotel room. The kitchenette is a really nice feature. Once you get there it is beautiful but be warned that the road to get there is in very bad condition and driving up and down every day was stressful, especially at night!! Google maps gets confused and we got lost the first night.
The staff are very friendly and kind. When I asked for things they got addressed but there wasn't much done in terms of being proactive. The rooms don't get serviced unless you ask and the correspondence on the Junglo Whatsapp was inconsistent. It was annoying to have to track someone down to ask for garbage to get emptied and to get more toilet paper.
The restaurant is nice and the food is tasty, including the cocktails. The servers and bartenders were always very friendly and went above and beyond. The menu is limited though.
There are no pools on site but 3 of the rooms have a jacuzzi. We complained because pools were advertised as a public amenity and as a feature of our room. We got a room upgrade but unfortunately the jacuzzi overflowed on one of the nights. I called and texted but no one came to help us deal with the overflow or the leaking that got into our room.
Overall, lovely place but there seems to be a lot of work to do to improve the guest experience!
