The cabin is made of wood part from our balcony you can get up to feel like you are resting in the middle of nature and enjoy a cup of coffee and see the beautiful view. You are invited to explore and enjoy this quiet secluded house and property which includes our very own access to the river, which is an easy hike to the base of the property. from 1 acre Green is a spacious and comfortable cabin with a mountain view and is only 15 minutes from downtown The house is Completely private for you we have a pool next to the river and the rainforest. The combination of really high ceilings and the location on the edge of a hill with a constant breeze and you can take a cup of coffee/wine or beer from our balcony and enjoy the always amazing rainforest Every room has an A/C with comfortable beds, The fully functional kitchen with granite counter tops is equipped with everything you need to prepare energizing breakfasts or delicious dinners. After dinner or just in the afternoon sit around and share memories in our comfortable living room or go to the playroom with a pin pong table, billiard table, and big open space for playing around. We had a wonderful, relaxing, fun stay. The pool/hot tub was awesome!!! The entire home was inviting and comfortable for our family. It was a bonus to have the restaurant close by: they even delivered.

Loved this property. Great place to get some seclusion. The family loved the pool, table tennis and pool table. The trails by the river were amazing as well. I’d definitely recommend this property!

Beautiful Property

Everything was just like it was mentioned. Very neat property not far from La Fortuna. Really enjoyed our stay. Can't say one bad thing about our stay here.

Birthday trip

My friends and I had a great time here...the property was well maintained and clean...the host was on pointe and covered our every need. Only complaint was the beds were not comfortable. Overall, we would stay again

Best place to stay

House was super clean and Danny took care of us really well and the communication was very good at anytime of the hour u call or text . The jouse is located with good access to grocery store and restaurents . I really liked the stay

Most magical place

I can’t say enough great things about this house and the manager. It was exactly like the pictures and more. Danny helped coordinate a private chef and all our excursions and transportation. It was such an amazing time and we felt taken care of our whole visit.

Unique Property!

Fun place to stay out of the hustle of Fortuna. Hot tub and dipping pool- all outdoor space was magnificent. Watch the toucans fly from tree to tree and the geckos cavort at night!

Arenal Visit

Property was great the pools by the house are not pictured and really add value to the unit. Being in town was a huge plus as we could walk to restaurants, markets, and bakeries.

Fabuleux

3 families, 11 personnes pendant 4 jours. La villa était parfaite, la surface extérieure couverte avec grandes tables, lits suspendus, table billard, ping-pong nous a permis de vivre à l’extérieur malgré la session des pluies. Accès au BBQ était génial. Le restaurant voisin nous a bien dépanné pour quelques soupers. Les piscines et le spa exceptionnels et d’une grande propreté. Rien à redire sur la qualité de cette villa, un excellent séjour dans la région de LaFortuna.

Loved the house. Full of rustic charm in a great area. Checking in and accessing the house and two downstairs locked bedrooms was a little convoluted. One of the codes we were given was wrong and the WiFi name was wrong too. But we figured it out.The “neighborhood” pool at the bottom of the hill was nice for the kids and we met another family there. They’re also building a basketball court. The trails and river views were also beautiful. The restaurant beside the house was great. We went for dinner one night and then desert another. Communication with host wasn’t great. We had tiny ants in the kitchen so had to keep food in the fridge. They were also in bedroom and the issue wasn’t addressed. Also asked for extra trash bags for bathrooms and didn’t receive. The washer and dryer were outside which is fine, but the washing machines are rigged with garden hoses and needed to move one hose to switch from wash to spin. Needs instructions printed or provided. Overall we loved the house but need to address the ant issue and washer.

Great place

We loved staying at Danny's place. The beds were nice. Showers were hot and the hot tub was super nice to come home to each evening. Danny was super responsive when we needed something. Location is good away from the hustle and bustle of la fortuna but it is 15 drive to town just like the listing says.

Stay in La Fortuna

We had an amazing time during our stay in La Fortuna! Danny was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Our original property that we booked, the pool was not ready, so we were moved to a different property. It definitely felt like an upgrade though! The property and was gorgeous and brand new! Each room was its own casita and the layout was really cool! We all loved it so much!! Excellent experience!

Très belle et propre Villa! Service impeccable!Danny, notre personne contacte, a été très sympathique et très attentionné. Il a promptement répondu à nos besoins. C'était formidable d'observer les toucans à partir de la piscine. Les photos sont très représentatives de cette de cette propriété. Villa coup de cœur de notre voyage!

Outstanding!

This place is spacious, with shops and restaurants just a 2 minute walk, while still being secluded and private. The hot tub was definitely a plus. Lots of wildlife visits, and we found a sloth with a baby in the trees by the river, just a short walk away.If we weren’t sleeping, our entire group would be hanging out on the SPACIOUS patio, playing pool and ping pong, having drinks and snacks. Our host Danny, was responsive to any needs we had, but we didn’t need much. Completely satisfied!

très bien pour les gros groupe

Nous étions jusqu'à 15 et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Beaucoup d'espace et de lits. Belles piscines. Possiblement une petite cuisine (avec quelques insectes - c'est normal pour l'endroit) si vous voulez cuisinez en groupe - il faudra vous ramassez à mesure. Je recommende.

Great house for family time

The property owner was helpful and communicative. Our kids absolutely loved the hot tub and pools. We also appreciated having air conditioning and hot water for showers. It was about 15 minutes from the downtown la Fortuna area. It was only a couple minutes walk to a nearby grocery store and bakery. There’s a restaurant right next door too.

family vacation

beyond what we expected. usually, people pick best points only in listings, his house and property had it all. the place is tropical and pretty. house was bigger than expected. Host was very friendly, and one night power outage happened the host responded immediately and help notify crews to get us up and running. would recommend this place highly.

Great Stay in the La Fortuna Area

This was a big house with more than enough space for the six adults in our group. We especially loved the pool and hot tub, and we could see hummingbirds from the back porch in the morning. Table tennis was a hit with some people in our group as well, and the food at the restaurant on the property was good. The listing description is generally accurate, and we'd happily stay here again. But the house could use a little TLC (minor repairs) in places, and some brighter lighting, and the kitchen isn't especially well equipped (but we're a family that likes to cook in).

Beautiful, peaceful property close to everything

We loved our stay in this home. Pictures don’t do it justice. It was clean, peaceful, well-appointed. There’s a little river out behind the property that gets a lot of sloths in the summer. We had rain every day during our stay, so we didn’t get to hear any monkeys. We did see a few toucans and macaws flying by.We hired the chef to make us breakfast daily. We also used their tour office to help with transportation and activities. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. Then again, that’s everyone in Costa Rica!

Excellent experience!

Danny, the host, was nothing less than amazing! The house was so big and beautiful, views of the jungle from all angles! The private pool was perfect at the end of a hot day! There is literally a restaurant in front of the property with the most delicious authentic food. Danny could not have been more helpful, he arranged transportation for us a couple of times, and saved us so much stress. He is great with communication, quick to reply. I can’t speak highly enough of our experience! Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!

Absolutely Perfect

I considered not booking this place because we ended up only being 8 and it accommodated way more but I kept it and I am so glad I did! It was clean and the perfect place to hang at the end of a day of touring or early in the morning before you start your day. The kids enjoyed the river and finding frogs and critters. The pools and Hot tub were enjoyed by kids and adults alike! Restaurants within walking distance as well as a market and pizzeria. Location was great. Just a short 15 minute drive to La Fortuna where many of the tours start and works with a local vacation planner to help with the endless things to do there. Fabulous vacation can not wait to go back!!

Great property

This house was great! It was beautiful and the property it was on was beautiful. The pool is a short walk but it was never a burden. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of space. The river behind the pool was fun to play in and walk along. We liked not staying in La fortuna because the city was so busy and the drive in was about 15 minutes so it was perfect. The music at the bar below was never a problem. And the food at all the sodas and the restaurant above was amazing. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Would definitely recommend this place!
