"This home has the best furnishings of any short term rental we've ever stayed in. Eclectic, international, vintage, and very comfortable. Everything - art, furniture, and ammenities, down to the table coasters are well thought out and stylish. The bed was comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet. The host was immediately responsive. "Everything was exactly as described in listing. Home was clean and organized. We enjoyed our stay. For only one bathroom we were worried about water pressure for 4 of us taking showers but it was great! It was a short drive to Hannibal. We did have a little difficulty with the entrance lock but figured it out quickly. Would recommend! "

"Great stay! Thank you for the quick responses to my questions, and easy apt access. We come several times a year to Quincy and usually stay with my inlaws, but they are getting older and it's getting hard for them to accommodate our family of 4. This apt was close to their home and fun for my teen kids. We will book again! "

"Very nice place to stay. The vicinity next to the busy road, while a little unsettling at first, was NO problem at all. Convenient to museums and restaurants with easy walks. Something I comment with 90% of vacation rentals…..Kleenex??!! Why can’t a box of tissue be thought of by property managers? Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Widow Douglas’ ."

In that, we scored with Penny's home in Quincy. Her home is truly beautiful and was designed for entertaining.
