With six bedrooms and three bathrooms, this spacious home is perfect for a memorable family vacation. Each bedroom features themed bedding that enhances the beachside ambiance, creating a calming and welcoming retreat for every guest. The open floor plan connects the fully equipped kitchen to the dining area, making it easy to gather for meals and enjoy quality time together.

Cute stay, does the job

The property did the job! The inside of the upstairs was nice with renovated kitchen/bathrooms and overall felt clean/nice. The inside of the downstairs was just okay, it was clean enough but felt pretty dingy with tile flooring and just had a basement sort of feel. Pool area was clean enough(but was not heated like the ad suggested!) and worked for us. We could not figure out how to turn on the outside shower, but we’re not sure if it wasn’t working if we’re just dumb. Both porches did not feel clean and felt like they needed to be renovated as well, but they served their purpose when needed. Access to the beach was the best part, and that’s why you’d stay here anyway! So that part worked out. Overall a solid beach stay, would recommend for large groups with kids or just groups in general

Best Location

A group of girlfriends and I stayed here for a 50th birthday celebration. The house in not only beautiful but the location is one the best in the area. We walked across the street and were steps from the beach. When we didn't want to go to the beach, we spent our time lounging poolside at the house. The house is spotless and lends itself to spending time with family and friends. I plan to go back with my family!

This is a lovely and well-equipped beach home. Having beach access directly across the street is a great convenience, and the salt water pool is a wonderful bonus!

Awesome home!

The home was so clean and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds super comfy and everything was welcoming. Being so close to the beach was great! The pool was refreshing and pleanty of room on the porches and decks to relax. Thank you for sharing your home!! We will definitely recommend to others and return again! :)

Perfect weekend getaway

Clean, cute, great access to beach! Well stocked kitchen, towels, etc for every guest, beautiful backyard pool, decor was simple and tasteful! Had a group of teens staying with us and they were able to spread out and enjoyed every minute of this house!

Great location for a group beach trip

We enjoyed our stay at A Pleasant Place. The home is convenient to the beach walk, has a well stocked kitchen and was tidy upon arrival. The screen porch and pool were both integral to our stay. We also appreciated the well stocked closet with chairs and pool/beach toys! My only complaint would be that the place is due for a deep cleaning in the spots that are harder to get. Also be prepared for water to pool under the home in significant rain. Don’t leave things you want to keep dry on the floor!

A week in Pawleys!!

The location & basic property itself was excellent! Our problem? It listed no pets, why we chose it, have 2 family members highly allergic to dogs & cats!! Sofa covered in pet hair, some towels had hair, pet hair on floor!!

Excellent location to the beach.

This home was just a perfect location to the beach with a very nice private pool as well! Everything was spotless and the home gave my family plenty of bedrooms! We would love to stay here again in the future!

This is a great house! It is very clean and organized with everything you need for a week at the beach. The location is perfect. Very quiet. Property manager a dream to work with. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. The name sums it up - A Ppeasant Place!

Beach House Review

This house is in the perfect location and is great for a group or large family. Having the pool in the backyard was also an awesome perk. A couple of things that I'd note for future stays is that you cannot access the bottom floor from the inside. If you go from the top floor to the bottom, you have to go outside and down the outdoor stairs. Not a big deal, but never saw that noted anywhere. There were also very very bad mosquitos outside around the back porch/pool. I know that comes along with being in the South, but I wonder if the property could have been sprayed prior to our arrival or more recently. I also called ahead of time to verify that there was a grill and Tidelife Properties told me that there was not. We cancelled plans to grill out and then arrived to find that there was in fact a grill but the propane was very low. The Wi-fi was also not working the whole time we were there and Tidelife wasn't very helpful in trying to trouble shoot that. They essentially said "Well, Charter probably can't come so we don't know what to tell you." Besides those few nit picky items, it was great. The house is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and they even have some board games, beach toys/floats. Made for a delightful weekend for a group of old college friends reuniting for the weekend!
