"Awesome place, tons of space! Check-in/out was super easy, and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend it, especially if you're into sledding – the trail's right across the street! Bear mountain BBQ is right next door which was super convenient and the food was phenomenal!"

"We enjoyed our relaxing stay, gazing at nature and exploring the property. Couldn't ask for a more accommodating host. Everything you could need here. He even brought locally made ice cream for Mom's 91st birthday (and sang along with us while enjoying some cake) "

"We came for a week to ride sidexside and ride we did! When it is listed as direct access to the trails, Clark Road is one of the access roads. The overall stay was phenomenal as you need nothing hardly as everything is there or conveniently located downtown. Upon arrival every room was spotless and so clean and inviting. Basically it was home away from home! I would and probably 100% stay again and highly recommend it!"

"This venue supported our first family reunion since 1992 and it was so good to us. Some spent the night very well accommodated. Some day tripped. "Wonderful base of operations for our days into Baxter State Park (highly recommended). Wonderful views out over the lake. We enjoyed hearing the calls of the loons in the evening and overnight.Heating the place can be a little awkward (there’s a Heat & Glo) gas fireplace with a heated air fan that serves this purpose (better than I expected) and portable electric radiators for the upstairs bedrooms if needed. There’s no TV and no central air but honestly that’s part of the point - and neither...

"Clean, quiet, and everything we needed! David was also very responsive to the couple of questions I had the first night. Came into town with a friend to hike in Baxter and this was a great place to relax and recuperate. Close enough to any gas stations, grocery stores or restaurants you may need. Awesome overall."
