"I was expecting a little more for breakfast. There was not much available."

"We needed a place to stay for the night and this hotel accommodated that need. Bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and instead of removal the hotel choose to paint over it with white paint but it was still very visible. Left a musty smell in the room if you left the bathroom door open. Would not stay again."

"This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences!"

"They had no staff to help with unloading the luggage or to parking the car. They only had one restaurant open while the others were closed. The rooms were old and worn out. It was a terrible place to stay."

"Front desk guy was nice. Room was not clean enough and was in bad shape. Weird smell when we entered, which we later found out was an uncleaned microwave that was SUPER greasy to the touch. I travel with disinfecting wipes, so was able to resolve myself. Mirror in bathroom had obviously not been cleaned (splatters all over it). Bed was comfortable. Pillows were fine. "Hot tub didn’t work so we basically had a bubble free bath. Ask housekeeping to Not service room of 2 night stay. They went into room anyway when we were gone. Morning of check out, housekeeping came into room without knocking, even though we had sign on door that we weren’t ready, nor had we checked out yet. They almost caught me changing my clothes. No apology just shut door and went about their business on the next room."

"This hotel really missed the mark and I don't know how the rating is so high. The only good thing was the cold ac in the room. The breakfast is just sad. The eggs are watery and tasteless. The comforter on the bed smelled of mildew and there were splattered stains on the wall. It could have been food but honestly looked like blood. Keep your socks or shoes on because the carpet will blacken the bottom of your feet. I was very disappointed with this hotel. I feel like I threw money in the trash...

"The hotel is under some renovation with pool and fitness area while we were there. Otherwise everything was terrific!!"

"The absolute nicest hotel I have stayed in. I have been to Hampton Inns and expected Home2Suites to be the same kind of lowered standard. I am so glad I was wrong. Everything was thoughtfully planned in the layout, from security elevators to soft shutting doors and the suites themselves. Clean like new clean. Staff were all extremely friendly and genuinely helpful. Breakfast was a little scant, but waffles won the morning. My only complaint is the mattresses were really really uncomfortable....

"This is a really nice place - but very large which also means lots of people. They have lots of free amenities that most hotels don't offer - free dinner, free drinks, free breakfast, free parking, free popcorn. Indoor pool and hot tub. There are also lots of cute little patios to sit on. The hotel was great and staff was awesome but there were just so many people that it was difficult to even take advantage of any of the great amenities. "Check-in was normal. We were on the ground floor next to an entry door that slammed. Every time someone went through the door, it woke us up. It was on the hinge backward and after talking to the front desk staff a couple times, one of them finally came out and just propped the door open so we could hopefully get some sleep the second night. Someone else moved the prop so I put a rock in front of it in the middle of the night. We asked the manager for a discount ant check-out and we got 10% off....

"They had a good breakfast with lots of choices. The pool was smaller and cold. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. We had ants on the third floor It was close to Walmart and gas stations and food options. Good location."

"Rooms had a horrible smell, a combination of cat urine and bug bomb. Asked clerk at desk for another room. That one smelled even worse. Requested that it be made right, only for clerk to say that he could not do anything. Turned in keys immediately to drive 2 hours to get home. Would not recommend this location to anyone. Never had a problem with Quality ainn or any Choice hotel."
