"I did contact the hotel at least 5 days ago to see if there’s any chance to get my booking changed as emergency medical issues . But no reply. I booked through Expedia, they tried to contact the hotel, hotel replied till the booking day. Said : the first day as no show, no refundable; second day, as it’s non refundable order, even you have the medical records, they still don’t agree to change or cancel the order. Very disappointing!"

"I knew this was going to be a bad hotel to stay at based on all the transient activity going on and around the property. The hotel staff were friendly but did not seem to be very competent doing their job. I waited for over 15 minutes for the front desk clerk to ask Housekeeping if my room was ready all the while she just stared blankly out the window. There was trash spread out the entire property, and the stairs looked like someone butchered an animal on them. There was drywall damage...

"Staff was extremely friendly, even introducing themselves to us in the elevator. The property was clean and well-maintained with plenty of parking and lots of centers with restaurant choices nearby. Breakfast was good and well-stocked with someone constantly checking and refreshing the levels. My family’s favorite part was the robot that delivered our extra blankets to our room! It was super funny and convenient (and memorable!)."

"I have stayed at several of the mid-range priced hotels in the Carlsbad area and the Hampton Inn is my top choice. My room was immaculate and all of the regular amenities were available, but what was above and beyond was the hot breakfast and a very comfortable bed, a very quiet room, and top-notch air conditioning on a very warm day in SoCal. I got a wonderful night’s sleep and love the noon checkout time so I’m not so rushed in the morning. Five stars all around!"

"The Ac unit was noisy. I call front desk for repair. A tech Mark came in 2 minutes to check. He left and in less than 10 minutes he came back with Todd Winter (Front office manager) With a brand new AC unit. They changed it immediately. Thank YOU"

"This is a beautiful property! I will definitely stay again. The rooms are spacious and clean. I love that parking is free. I do wish they had EV charging and elevators. The buildings with rooms do not have elevators (only 2 floors). If you book through Expedia you may not get what you booked (ie: room with golf view) so call the resort after booking to make sure they lock that room for you."
