"I am extremely disappointed with our stay and the hotel's unacceptable hygiene. We found a large living June bug/Scarab Beetle—a known pest—in our room. When we reported it, the manager was dismissive, simply taking the bug and arguing it was 'no big deal’. He flat-out denied our request for compensation. "Basic, not fancy, not high end, but it serves a need for many who don't have lots of cash to spend. Our room was decent, definitely basic, it was sufficient for a brief stay. It had a small fridge and microwave. The bed was firm, if you like that, that means you'll enjoy the beds. The pillows are not flat and don't go flat when you rest your head on them. If you like flat pillows, you might want to bring your own. The room we stayed in appears to have been updated within the last several years...

"It had a very decent size fridge, microwave, coffee, hair dryer, which we were happy to have. The photos of this place are deceiving. We had a king room and it was extremely small, but we made it work. What we didn't like was the cleanliness. Both nightstands had stuck on crud that needed to be scraped off with a razor, like sticky candy or ice cream that had been dried on and stuck there for a while. It was pretty disgusting."

"Property failed to mention that they no longer have a pool. Also when I requested some additional towels, the clerk made a comment about "just checking in" and was hesitant to provide them. Rooms were a bit small and outdated but for the price it was ok."

"Property wants pets because they get 30 dollars a night per dog. Spent 3 nights for 180 dollars and the room was never cleaned a definite ripoff for pet owners. Room had dirty floors and the only available room on ground floor was a single king size bed"

"Great place to stay at a reasonable price! Bed was comfortable with great pillows. Clean and spacious. Fridge, microwave, and keurig machine in room. Excellent water pressure in shower. Breakfast was served. We didn't have that as we were going to our favorite places but we saw many enjoying it and it looked good."

"Few amenities (food, drink, small side-office pool). Everything else is absolutely top-tier. Clean rooms, amazing staff, excellent, quiet location, very accommodating, and near Interstate 15. A hidden Escondido treasure."

"Rooms were not cleaned in days specially the bathroom floors (I end up cleaning the floor with a few wet towels), sheets were changed and the beds were comfortable, staff were friendly, but they could do so much. Rooms need remodeling, especially the bathroom as the faucets were hardly working despite of good water pressure."
