"There wasn’t much variety in the menu and the specials were the same over the three days. Also we thought it was a little expensive. I thought it was b & b only to find out when we arrived it wasn’t."

That was it left to our own devices no sorry we were told free drinks were offered but we didn’t receive anything. At breakfast there wasn’t enough room so again left to our own devices to find seating in the cold bar. We were asked at breakfast if the room needed service or a drink we said service but got neither. All in all the staff could do better. "

"The room and the entire property was very well presented and fresh. The restaurant was also exceptional with top level table service and a great menu. Only negatives are that road facing room was a little noisy during the morning and evening rush hours and the security light in the room was quite intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stop over."

Our host was really helpful and easy to communicate with and the property was in such a lovely quiet area. We were close enough to the local town centre to drive over for tea and 30 mins from Harrogate for a day out. Absolutely brilliant value for money"

"A lovely position right near the conference centre and friendly staff who are also very helpful. Room was good and the bed firm enough and comfortable. Parking is available but quite tight if there is a few large cars. You are less than 10 minutes walking from the centre of Harrogate and surrounded by good restaurants and drinking bar. I had a very enjoyable time there. 😊"

"Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. "Hotel was like a building site for the whole of our romantic break. Toymaster 2026 event preparation took over the entire hotel . Also, there was a parking charge of £18/night hidden in the smallprint; nearby street parking only £12 for 24 hours!"
