"Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, however things went down hill from there. We were shown to room 1( Spa Gill ) which looked really nice on the website. As we entered the room it looked nice and clean but the bed looked like the mattress was very thin and not quite what we expected. "I was attracted to the driveway and the room wallpaper when I researched on where to stay in North Yorkshire. I was happy with the room though the garden view was a stretch. "Personal choice but didn't like the evening menu choices and breakfast was good if poached eggs were cooked better. Mine still had the clear egg slime on them.
