"It is perfectly located for the centre of Ripon and the lady checking us in was lovely. The room itself felt and smelt damp, the beds were not very comfortable and we couldn’t cover the window to make it dark which was an issue when getting our 1 year old to sleep. All that being said we would definitely stay there again because it made visiting Ripon on a tight budget possible and if we hadn’t had our daughter with us none of the above would have been an issue. "

"It was a good hotel, we were visiting family in the area so was a nice base. We had stayed at other nearby hotels so wanted to try this one. It was okay for one night, we booked in for dinner. The menu is extremely limited for dietary requirements, with things listed as vegetarian that weren't and food didn't match description.
