Parc Històric Estatal Point Sur

Let me say I enjoyed my stay. The property is well maintained, and the room we occupied is well appointed and clean, if a little stark. The staff is great! The property is nestled in the valley and it’s mostly quiet but for the whirl of the various machinery that runs the place and the cars that whizz by on the main highway next to the property. We don’t golf, so perhaps we didn’t take advantage of the main thing there? The room was next to a box that whirled intermittently all night long. You need to be a strong sleeper to overcome the nuisance. I am. Though The Covey Grill is a nice venue, the food is not something I would drive out for. Don’t forget there’s a resort fee on top of the room rate per night. It’s NOT exorbitant at $42/night. But we didn’t get a chance to really enjoy the extras much.
