"I enjoyed my stay at the Alma Lodge Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was easy to get a late drink at the bar. The breakfast was quite varied and staff checked that items were maintained regularly, unlike in many other hotels I have stayed at in the past. I would be happy to stay at the Alma Lodge again."

"We loved our stay at the George. Jos and Lindsay are lovely and run a very nice business. We had two rooms, wife and I and Daughter and Partner. We arrived soaking wet after a walk on Mam Tor. Checked in, had a laugh with the owners, parking was easy, rooms are excellent and clean, food good, beers good.
