"Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms"

"Really lovely castle! Rooms are charming, grounds are lovely and the breakfast was nice. The TVs in the room were smart TVs but didn't work with the internet, and it would have been nice to have fridges in the rooms."

"The gruff owner needs to realise that she is in the hospitality business, not doing you a favour by allowing you to stay at her hotel. "A gem of a place to stay and excellent value for money. Owners and staff are lovely - nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is very good and the attached bar/restaurant is well stocked and the food is excellent. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. "

"Super stay as a half way point from Wimbledon to the coast on bikes with kids. Excellent, spacious family room. Right on the Down’s link. Staff very friendly and welcoming. "We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). Convenient hotel

"It's a great hotel very conveniently located in the Gatwick airport. It's very clean, the rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. The only negative thing is that the room we were given was so far away from the reception, we had a lot of suitcases so it was a bit tough to get there, it was quicker to get to the airport than the room. We are young so it wasn't too much of a problem for us. Overall a good stay and would stay there again."
