This attractive cottage has 2 bedrooms and full bathroom downstairs (2 queens) & 1 king bed & ensuite in the semi-private loft. The space is comfortable & very well-equipped for your island getaway. Guests will love the location of this cottage as it's a 10 second (!) walk from the resort's 23' x 50' heated pool & hot-tub and a short walk to the entrance of Parksville's spectacular Rathtrevor Provincial Park.

Such a Beautiful and Well-Appointed Cottage

We had a fabulous time at Rathtrevor Cottage! My Mom (who's in her 80's), my son who is a teenager and my husband and I felt like we could relax and enjoy a nice couple of days as soon as we entered the air conditioned cottage. It was clean, it had everything that we needed and the access to the beach, pool and amenities were perfect. Judy was easy to keep in touch with and followed-up regularly to make sure we were enjoying our stay, which we really appreciated. Thanks so much for a lovely time!

Judy is an outstanding host - the property was clean, well stocked and the directions were really easy to follow. We loved going for walks, eating at the Black Goose and the walk to the beach - highly recommend!

Home Away From Home

Rathtrevor Cottage was such a wonderful place to stay! The house is lovely and clean and every basic thing you need for comfort is there. We would definitely stay there again and give it a huge A.

It was a wonderful place to stay with my granddaughter and daughters.. there was everything we needed… Judy was pleasant to deal with.. my granddaughter loved mini golf at rip tide and swimming in the pool..

Excellent Stay!

Property manager, rental, location….all were excellent. Above and beyond. Stayed for one week. We did a lot of our own cooking and loved that the basics were all provided. Judy made us very aware that she was available if there was anything we needed. Home was clean and well supplied….right down to the coffee and laundry detergent. Felt like home. Appreciated the suggestion book of favourites. The area is amazing. We did a couple of hikes a day as well as taking in some other activities in the area. Some evenings we soaked our weary bones in the hot tub a stones throw away.

Cottage near the beach

Oceanside Resort is a short walk to stunning Rathtrevor Beach and is surrounded by forest. Our accomodation was excellent - clean, comfortable & very well-equipped.

Clean open unit, close to great amenities. Sadly the pool was closed for most our stay and the kids were disappointed. But we filled our time there with other fun activities.

Rathtrevor Cottage

We stayed five nights at the cottage. It was very clean. Had everything you needed was an excellent location couldn’t ask for a better experience host was always available and if we needed anything, it was addressed right away.

Unit is lovely, comfortable beds and lots of towels. No fan in the top sleeping area, was glad I brought my own as AC didn’t seem to cool off this area. Only discovered a supplied fan yesterday…was tucked in one of the main floor rooms. Proximity to the pool was the best! Few things to improve on but overall was very good. Host Judy was super.

This property is extremely well taken care off. The host is very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. Everything you need is included in this cottage, including dishes, cookwares, cleaning supplies, beach toys, folding chairs, towels, linens, shampoo, soap, barbecue, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc. There is no need to bring anything, other than your own food and clothes. There is lots to do in Parksville and you are within minutes of everything, including restaurants, public beach, provincial beach, whale watching, etc. There is an indoor pool and hot tub right across from this cottage. Excellent choice for families of up to 6 people to stay.

Amazing accommodation in Parksville

Myself, two friends and my dog stayed for almost a week at this property. It was immaculate, well furnished and all the amenities (for dog and human). Judy the property manager was beyond accommodating for everything and super responsive to messages. We will definitely be back next year!

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. Judy was extremely responsive and directions were clear. We enjoyed the proximity of the pool for the kids and all the extras stocked in the unit (beach supplies, kitchen extras, etc). Recommend!

Rathtrevor Cottage Birthday

Our stay at Rathtrevor Cottage was a wonderful experience. We were there for my wife’s 50th birthday and our host Judy went out of her way to buy a cake and a balloon for us to open the cottage to, as a surprise, on our arrival. Judy even came by to say Hi shortly after we arrived to check in. She also offered to buy us some groceries to help us settle in to our vacation. She was a fantastic host! The cottage was clean, had plenty of room and was situated right across from the pool facility which was very convenient. The property overall was very well kept and was quiet and relaxing. It was a great experience for our family! Thanks!

Relaxing Get Away!

We came up to this cabin for some much needed R&R. There was enough space for three adults, one child and a puppy to enjoy each other’s company while having adequate distance. The space was calming and the family dog made themselves home immediately! We will be coming again!

Perfect get Away!

This Beautifully appointed cottage, is in a quiet location, with no traffic noise! Across the road, visit the Black Goose for a terrific meal, we actually went twice it was so good! Don’t hesitate about booking this cottage, you won’t be disappointed! We will definitely come again.
