This is a two-star hotel masquerading as a four-star. The light was so dim in my bedroom that even with every light on I could not read a book in bed, something I consider to be a basic standard in a hotel. I called the front desk for help, someone came up and we tried standing the little bedside lamp on a stack of books, but it still came up to only my torso height, so it was too low to read by. He said he would make a note and look into getting me something better the next day, but he did not, nor did he mention it when I saw him again. He also said other people had complained of the dim lights in their room, but I guess the hotel has taken no action. (Note, the photo I shared is taken with all the lights in the room turned on.) The maids did not clean my room one day in spite of the fact that I left my room at 1:00 PM with a "Please make up my room" card hanging on the door. I had to ask every night for additional coffee pods because on the days they came, the maids did not supply new ones. The hotel has a lot of chipped paint in the hallways which is maybe why they keep the hallways very dim. I won't stay here again!
