"The house was clean and as pictured. We came on a work retreat and it was perfect for us in terms of bedrooms and space. It was well stocked for a big group and set in a beautiful location. The only challenge was that we had some issues connecting the TV to a laptop. For that reason we’ve given 4 stars – otherwise we would happily have given 5."

"My dog and I had a lovely stay. The owners two dogs came to visit which was lovely. Great place for them to have a wander about. Weather wasn’t kind to us but staying in the railway carriage fabulous. Warm and had everything we needed plus Netflix so treated it as a retreat and rest day. Fabulous place!! Thank you !!!"

"Lovely little place, beautifully presented / decor. Waking up to the sounds of the native birds, surrounded by trees really made you feel like you were rugged up in a tree house. Only recommendation would be to put the books in a container as they smell slightly musty and if possible providing a pair of scissors (for coffee sachets etc) would be great. Could be quite chilly if staying over winter but there are heaters provided. Otherwise 10/10 would absolutely stay again."

"It's an amazing house in an amazing location, but a bit run down. 1/3 of the lightbulbs in the house were burnt out or missing. The oven didn't work properly. It needed a good clean: there were cobwebs in the corners, and it was clear the couch cushions hadn't been vacuumed under in some time. "

I rented for 3 nights and stayed zero minutes. The problem was, that the room felt too enclosed. The room is downstairs - I don't recall the room having windows... The Expedia/VRBO Listing shows pictures of the kitchen and the patio and the amenities you can use upstairs but when you walk up stairs and you see the family doing homework, you...
