"This is a hidden gem for San Isidro. Good road to access property. Friendly staff. Beautifuly landscaped property. Clean rooms. Hot shower. Comfortable beds and pillows. The pools are clean. One is deep with slides and and a jumping ledge. The restaurant and bar area has good food a drinks along with pool, air hockey, and foosball. Don't let the negative reviews for covid years deter you to book this place. It's awesome. "

"Es ist ein ruhiges Hostel mit einem schönen Pool und einem tollen Gemeinschaftsbereich. Es gibt allerdings keine Rezeption und alles wird nur per WhatsApp kommuniziert. Es gingen verrottete Bananen im Küchenbereich, ohne weitere Erklärung. Die rochen sehr intensiv."

"Canavida has got to be the best place to stay in Uvita. Staying here included an exceptional view from the condos, a very clean room and the most accommodating and kind owners. It is clear that the owners love taking care of their customers and accommodation. We asked for a second mattress as we found the sofa bed uncomfortable and they personally delivered a second mattress to our room. "What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga. The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room. I spent most of my time on the deck. Was clean and well maintained. "

"This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...
