"The kids wanted to stay here all day rather than explore Bryce Canyon. Kayaking, canoeing, and lots of animals to meet... It was great! Fire pit was also nice and we enjoyed a lot of s'mores. If we ever visit the area again, this will definitely be the place we stay!"

"This stay is beautifully furnished and clean. We enjoyed sitting outside evenings and could walk into the small town for dinner. It was small, as described but good utilization of space but after 3 nights we were happy to stretch out at our next stay. The one downside was that there is a microwave and supplies for oatmeal and coffee but no way to cook the oatmeal other than coffee mugs and no way ( soap, towels etc) to wash them. We ended up buying dish detergent and using the paper towels but...

"The Alton Lodge is awesome! It is a beautiful log structure that is warm and inviting! It was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay on our way from Zion NP to Bryce Canyon NP. We enjoyed the hiking trail up the hill behind the lodge as well as the night sky full of stars. Seeing a herd of elk on the way into Alton was icing on the cake! We highly recommend the Alton Lodge!"

"positives: host was very responsive, location close to ski resort, studio is small but recently renovated. negatives: our beds were not made upon arrival and we didn't have enough sheets to make the beds ourselves and the sheets never came because of an argument with the cleaning staff. The queen air mattress also leaked slowly throughout the night. I think both those things can be fixed easily and then this place would be 5 stars."

"Older condo, no AC but cool even in summer, not fancy but cozy, clean and you can't go wrong at Brian head for summer or winter. The hot tub/pool was nice, security on site, and the owner had thought of everything we could need. more than 4 would be really tight. "

"It dumped the day we arrived (17 in) and our front wheel drive vehicle didn’t make it up the drive to the condo (the chains on one of our tires broke so perhaps we would have made it up otherwise?) That being said, the condo was a great size for our group of nine and once we found the path, an easy walk right out to the middle of a beginner run that allowed access to all of Navajo.
