Yoo Apartments in Panama City left much to be desired during my recent stay. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a lack of hot water, which persisted throughout my brief visit. Despite informing the front desk upon returning from dinner, the issue remained unresolved by the time I checked out the next morning.
The manager’s attempt to address the problem was unconvincing, as he insisted the water was warming up when it clearly wasn’t. This led to a frustrating exchange of him stating it’s warming up, when clearly it wasn’t and ultimately led to no resolution with me continuing check out. When I inquired about a refund, I was directed to Expedia, only to be informed later that my reason for checking out was deemed insufficient for reimbursement because there was always hot water in the apartment. This claim that the issue was resolved shortly after my departure added to the confusion and dissatisfaction. Especially when deemed as a liar.
Overall, the communication and customer service at Yoo Apartments were disappointing. The handling of the situation felt dismissive and unhelpful, leaving me with a negative impression. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Yoo Apartments to others seeking reliable accommodations in Panama City.
