Located in the historic neighborhood of South Palm Springs, you'll love this Mid-Century Modern Ocotillo Lodge one bedroom condo built in 1957 by Alexander and designed by architects Dan Palmer and William Krisel. Re-live the days of old Hollywood.

This cozy bungalow sleeps 2 people and is located just steps from the champagne cork shaped pool, one of the largest in Palm Springs, as well as two whirlpool spas. The interior features classic mid-century architectural elements such as tongue & groove ceilings, clerestory windows and a wall of glass overlooking the patio area.

The 525 square foot 2nd floor, one bedroom/one bath condo has been completely renovated and updated in February 2018 with an eclectic Scandinavian approach. Designed for rest, relaxation and fun, the condo features a full kitchen, bathroom, living and dining area with a joining patio, private bedroom with queen sized bed and bath with a walk in shower.

In addition to WiFi, you'll find the living room and bedroom TVs are smart TVs and ready for your Netflix or HULU account. Please remember to sign out of your account before departing. There is no cable TV in this condo.

Located in desirable south Palm Springs, this condo is walking distance to Koffi, Smoketree Commons for groceries and restaurants, Ace hotel, and shopping.

The resort was a popular destination and hot spot for Hollywood celebrities such Lucille Ball, Marilyn Monroe, George Burns, Gracie Allen, Peggy Lee and The Rat Pack.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped with desert landscaping.

Less than a 5 minute drive or an UBER/LYFT ride to downtown Palm Springs, you are close to the city's most popular restaurants, shops and entertainment. Treat yourself to a relaxing mid-century inspired getaway!

Pease Note:
Written rental agreement and ID required to complete booking. Per the city of Palm Springs, you must be 25 or older to rent the property.

12.5% tax will also be charged per the City of Palm Springs. Bookings 28 days or more do not pay tax.

No events or photo shoots of any kind are allowed at this property.

The city NEVER allows music to be plaid or heard outside 24/7.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire complex.

Absolutely no music outside at any time of the day/night. Music outside can result in a $500+ fine from the city and eviction with no refund.
City of PS requires a signed rental agreement w/in 48 hours of booking and face/face meeting at check-in. Contracted renter must be 25+ years old.

I appreciate that this was minutes away from my conference. It was cute, clean and quiet. In the future I would book a hotel in Palm Springs. This rental had too many rules for me. I was there for a conference. I slept and showered there only. The strict policies and signing paperwork with the owners felt stifling.

Great place to stay. Very nicely set up, great communications with rental management, super clean and just overall a beautiful, historic place to stay. This place is great if you prefer a more quiet environment (I was remote working during my stay, loving the super fast internet connection and the pretty, quiet surroundings).

We recently stayed at this property and found everything to be exactly as described in the listing. The home was very clean, check-in was easy, and communication with the host was smooth and professional.The neighborhood is extremely quiet, which may be ideal for some, but it did feel like we needed to be extra cautious about making any noise due to the local ordinances in Palm Springs. This made the stay feel a bit more reserved than we expected.Inside, the shower area felt a little sparse — there was minimal sink space and no real storage, which made getting ready a bit of a challenge. The water pressure in the shower was very powerful. Additionally, there was no full-length mirror in the space, which is something to consider for future guests. Overall, it was an okay stay in a well-maintained and peaceful home. If you're looking for a very quiet place to unwind, this might be a good fit.

Too short!!

Very comfortable stay in P.S.

Our stay was a mix of work and relaxation. There is a very nice work station at the unit with excellent WiFi. Having a very large and well equipped pool was a bonus.All in all it was a wonderful and quiet stay at a very convenient location.

Das Apartment ist schön eingerichtet, aber leider ist die Anlage etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hat leider nicht ganz gepasst. Das Apartment ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, liegt aber direkt an der Hauptstraße (bei dünnen Wänden/Fenster) und die Gesamtanlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Dusche sind gut aus, hatten aber leider 2 Tage kein heißes Wasser (wurde dann repariert) und es dauert ewig bis etwas heißes Wasser aus der Dusche kommt.

Great stay! Highly recommended!

The condo is exactly as it's represented in the photos: freshly modern, clean, sunny and comfortable. The location is great. It's not really walking distance to the main downtown area, but it's a quick 5-minute drive and we didn't have trouble finding parking. The only thing I didn't love was the sofa. It's comfortable, but it sits low and deep and almost forces you into a reclining position. Kind of a petty complaint, though, for a place that gets 5 stars all around from us. Enjoy!

Desert life at it’s best!

Clean, well equipped apartment within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars. Having pool and hot tub was a wonderful bonus after a long day of hiking. Laundry is not coin operated, you need to download an app and add money. Then use QR code to operate individual machines. Caused a few minutes of confusion, but worked out fine. Garbage and recycling trash need to go to a specific area which is a walk around the pool, near the laundry. Wish each building had a bin. Being so close to Downtown was great, short Uber ride or use the free parking garage. Overall, we had a great stay! Met some really great people and thoroughly enjoyed the desert!

Disappointment

Emails regarding checking in never arrived. When we eventually gained entry, we discovered that the lobby has been closed for months, the pool was closed, the hot tub was closed, the restaurant was closed. The kitchen floor was sticky, the stove was inoperable, and worse yet, pounding music could be heard through the walls from adjacent units. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get any sleep. We moved out the next day, notifying the property manager of our decision.

Modern, open space

The unit in the Ocotillo Lodge is modern open plan unit that feels more spacious than it actually is. The best is extremely comfortable and I enjoyed the outside space. Mike, the manager was readily available and handled a couple of issues rapidly with a smile. I would come back here again. The only request I would make is a new sofa. It is so low it is hard to get out of. Other than that, very good experience.
