"We had issues with the AC , the TV and a smoke detector. The staff seemed to think that was okay just to say sorry and move on."

When we arrived we found out that it was just an old motel that likely gets by with long term rentals for locals. "Don’t stay here staff is rude not helpful at all. If you’re gonna go someplace in Hollister, go to RIDGEMARK or the Fairfield or the Holiday Inn."

"Breakfast was very decent. Parking was perfect the only issue that was terrible was the house keeping. Could have done a better job myself. The blankets were just pulled up pillows left exactly as we left them the trash bag in the restroom and living area were just thrown in there hanging over with no knot. It was a male Hispanic ( we are Hispanic too) no care or effort made at all and it showed. Terrible representation of the hotel!!!!!!! So disrespectful "

"Overall great location. Signs of reworked to doors and walls throughout the property. A small “trash” area behind the building can been seen with piled up old furniture, electronics, etc. the breakfast was also a bit expensive. Nevertheless, the food was good, the staff was amazing, the rooms were overall clean, and the amenities within the room were all amazing."

"Positives:Parking was on the property, easy and free. Short walk to the beach. Staff was helpful and polite. Negatives: No coffee, tiny towels, one tiny bottle of shampoo and 2 tiny bars of soap. "

"Great location. Easy walking distance to beach and downtown. The room looked a little worn down and out dated. Thin walls. Was woken up and kept up by loud thumping/stomping noises all morning starting around 6am. "

"Our room was okay, but we didn’t have water to shower, and the toilet kept getting stuck and the water would run unless we removed the top and push the chain down. The attendant didn’t seem bothered to do anything about it. We were only there for one night, and unfortunately, I would not stay there again."

"I needed a place to stay over the weekend here in Santa Cruz. When looking up nearby hotels to the event I wanted to go to, this one came up as close. Expedia shows this as a 7.8/10, but when you look it up on google, it says 2/5 star hotel. The thing that made me book the hotel in the first place was the fact that it was cheap and it had advertised on Expedia that it has SOUNDPROOF ROOMS.... this is an absolute lie. Once I got in my hotel room, the people in the conjoining room were blasting...
