"The water pressure was lousy, especially in the bathroom sink.. Took a minute to get enough to brush my teeth, forget a good hand or face wash. Toilet flush was weak. The refrigerator would not get much colder than room temperature. Needs more hooks, etc to store things both in the bathroom and main room. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"When I arrived at the hotel with my family, I was told by the receptionist that my reservation was for the following day and not that day! It was a shock, but I had made a mistake when I made the reservation. The receptionist was very kind and helpful and was able to change my non-refundable reservation to the same day after talking to the Expedia customer service. I would like to thank him again for making a smooth transition without any interruption on our trio plans."

"Room had a a bug in the bed , they had to move us as soon as we got there, there was a fowl humid smell in room and air didn’t work. The other room when the shower was on, the pipes made a horrific noise my husband said it was air in the pipes. And the second room we were moved I also had a smell. I think they should remove carpets. Towels had hair so I don’t know the last time they wash. Overall I don’t like to give bad reviews but this one had to be told. The breakdowns the staff was great...

"I stayed at Element New York Wood-Ridge for 4 nights, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Don’t be fooled by the photos online — a lot of the advertising felt misleading. The continental breakfast shown in the pictures was nothing like what was actually offered.
