"Extremely easy access to cruise ship walk next door with luggage and board cruise ship, Hop on bus or tram to city centre was across the walkway."

"great hotel, rooms are large and clean, excellent showers. Try the wellness center. my wife and I enjoyed a massage and a dip in the pool. Breakfast was over the top, visit the bakery, best bread around we ate in the restaurant 2 nights as we were too tired to go anywhere. It was excellent, had a martini in the roof top cocktail lounge, what a view of the harbor each of the staff was friendly and accommodating. If we end up in Amsterdam again, we would stay again."

"The location is excellent, and despite it being in the busiest part of the city, you couldn't really hear it from inside the room. Room was comfortable enough, though I'd say the room was reasonably basic. Room was clean, and the linens were of good quality. Staff were super friendly and helpful."

"This property was in the great location for walking to restaurants, museums, and shopping. Very friendly and very helpful staff made our three days most enjoyable. The room was spacious with the bed very comfortable and the bathroom well-appointed. Breakfast had a large selection of foods and beverage choices for us. We will most definitely will return. "We stayed in a Deluxe Room the Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium for 5 nights, and we were disappointed. They put us on a floor that was undergoing renovations (our hallway was covered in painting tape and had unfinished light fixtures), and our room had non-functional ventilation and sparse seemingly unfinished decoration. Our room also had no view (despite advertising a city view) and the bathroom was smaller than advertised. We raised all of this after one night, and mid-way through our stay...

"Front desk staff was friendly upon initial check-in, but additional interactions after that were not great. Room was not cleaned daily & water bottle was not replaced, so when I asked for one at the front desk in the evening they told me that only one was allowed per day for free. A little frustrating since I hadn’t been given one yet! Room was a lot smaller than expected, but it was worth it to get one with a balcony. Fine for one person, but not sure how 2 would’ve fit in the room with 1 side...

"The hotel is walking distance from the over-congested, very loud core of the old city. It allows you to find quiet when you want it, but it’s close enough to the core that it can be easily walked by most people. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. There are a few nice cafes and breakfast spots nearby."

"There were many instances where they fell short, especially with front desk and housekeeping. However, the final straw was when housekeeping took a used bath towel from the bathroom floor, folded it up and put it back on the towel rack! I will avoid this hotel and every other one managed by this group."

"Great location . Close to central station easy to get around on trams or subway. Rooms comfortable but not luxurious. High bath to climb in if older . Would prefer a walk in shower. Thought was expensive for lack of amenities eg pool and sitting area together a group. If location most important great choice!"
