This modern, huge home was centrally located to all attractions and had many bedrooms and bathrooms. It was near a noisy highway that we could hear. The adjoining homes were very close together, so there was little privacy and you could hear everything that was happening at your neighbours pool- just steps away. Kids screaming and a few parties were very loud. Upon driving there, we were given 2 conflictIng home addresses. The community was run like a prison. We had to register our family members prior to checkin, - but , upon every entry to the private neighborhood , we had to show our driver’s license and wait for approval to enter through the gate. Many times we would enter our license and no one would respond and a guard in a marked vehicle was watching 20 feet away. Not providing any assistance- even when a lineup of cars was waiting. It was just very disrespectful of the guards to ignore residents and it would have been better to have provided those living there, their own fob to get in. We paid for pool heating , which was fine , until we extended our stay , by one day, and asked for the heat to continue another day. They assured us that would happen- and it didn’t. Same with the grill. You have to pay more for that and I did - once I arrived. It took a few days to show up and then ( since we paid for a week of the grill ) I asked for it to stay for our last day, that we added. Again I was told that they would make sure the grill stayed. Once again- that did not happen and it was removed a day before we left.
Very frustrating indeed. And while I got an apology- I am still waiting on getting a refund of the 1 day of pool heating , and I should get a partial refund on the grill since it showed up very slowly, late into my holiday and was taken away too early. But no compensation has been given for the grill or pool heat. The warm pool has a very annoying alarm on the door that goes off , within seconds, if you don’t disarm the alarm beforehand , by hitting buttons on the inside and outside of the home. . Those buttons are over 6-7 feet away- which is very awkward. While I appreciate the fact that it’s good to have with children around, my family are all over 22 years of age- so we do not need the alarm. So it was a real nuisance. Really gave us headaches when you forget a few times to hit the alarm deactivation button. Overall a lovely home inside, beds comfortable, but too noisy outside for us and resort communication very poor.
