"The cottage is in the perfect area to view the northern lights. It’s just close enough to the nearby town and just far enough to not get the light pollution. The outdoor hot tub for each individual cottage is perfect to sit in and watch the lights. They have the cutest ‘community’ dog that is very sweet and so well behaved. Just be aware if you are allergic to dogs! The bed seems to be a bit old and it was awkward to have just one side to get in and out through as the rest of the bed is up...

"Das Cottage ist sehr klein aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles da was man brauchte. Allerdings ist das Bett für zwei Personen viel zu klein und dass das Bad nicht komplett abgeschlossen war führt dazu, dass keine Privatsphäre vorhanden ist. Daher nur 4 Sterne. Vermieterin ist sehr nett und sympathisch. "

"Gljúfurbústaðir is a lovely place, perfectly positioned for exploring the South Coast or doing the Golden Circle. Very spacious. Hot tub a nice bonus. Not a big deal, but the hot water smells strongly of sulphur (low carbon footprint!). "

"So this place was a good place to stay as we start our drive around the country. It's in the middle of nowhere (by beach though) but not scenic. The room is comfortable and clean. It's really quiet. The only downside is there was very limited hot water. My wife used it all up in a not very long shower. "

"Vi havde et dejlig ophold i den hyggelige, store hytte #1. Den lidt ældre hytte havde sin helt egen charme og var meget pæn og rengjordt ved ankomst. Børnene elskede den store hems hvor de sov og kunne se ned til det store køkken/alrum. Selve køkkenet var godt indrettet med stort køleskab, 4 kogeplader, ovn og vask. Vi har dog savnet nogle køkkenredskaber som fx. en palet eller en osteskærer. Hvis man har tænkt sig at booke et længere ophold i hytten er det måske godt at vide at der ikke er...

"The property was very clean and the location was great as we wanted to tour Iceland on our honeymoon. Host was easy to contact and gave us great information for our stay. The only negatives we had were that the listing wasn't clear. When we booked, we thought we'd be getting the bigger cottage with the washing machine and dryer but didn't find out that it wasn't included till after we booked.
