Family and Friend Gateway to Sunshine city

Welcome to Sunshine city, we are located in Orillia, Canada, situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The Water Spash on Tudhope Park are just a short stroll away - The perfect location for relaxing and playing. Downtown Orillia and and HWY 11 is 5 minutes drive. Spacious and bright clean home for you to relax and retreat with family and friends. Enjoy fishing and boating on both Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching.

Every house has its own custom and rules, please observe and apply while you are staying in the property.
House Rules:
No pets
No Smoking
No Shoes in the house, indoor sandals are provided in the closet
No Parties, neighbors can call police if disturbed
No Loud Noise after 10pm to respect quiet residential neighborhood (City of Orillia restrict rule)
Please wash all DIRTY dishes, there are dishwasher soap under the sink
Kept the place clean and tidy
No outside visitors, no overnight guests without previous approval from your host
Additional fee for extra guess, 20/person/night
Maximum guests staying in the house are 10 people.
Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property
If you break/damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement/repair
Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests

Trip to gather with family

The properties bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and general living space were all clean and the space was very comfortable. The below are some things we noted that are small things that could take it to the next level. This property is tired. Simple easy things that could improve it are: fixing the front screen door (screen and latch), nicer water glasses, put shelf paper in the cupboards, replace soap dispensers when they are dirty (downstairs bathroom), extra blankets available in each bedroom, pillow options, mirrors in the upstairs bedrooms, washcloths, anti-slip mat in the upstairs bathtub and a clean floor mat at the front door.

Perfect family setup

We were four couples attending a wedding and getting ready at the same time, therefore a mirror in each bedroom would have made getting ready easier ( simply a suggestion). 2) the basement bedroom was cold, perhaps an extra blanket or throw could be available 3) perhaps the front screen door should be looked into. 4) the back yard is very accommodating but looks abandoned (could use a tender loving touch) Other than the above, everything was A+ These comments are not intended to be criticism, but merely to inform. We would not hesitate to recommend the place

Family visit

The location was close to family we have in the area and the space was roomy and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting outdoors a few evenings and there was enough comfortable seating inside for our group. Overall we were quite pleased with the accommodations and would recommend them to others visiting the area.

Reunion

Our stay was very comfortable and the house is very well equipped. The only thing lacking was a comforter for the pull out sofa. We were a group of 9. The kitchen was too small for our group but fortunately we did no cooking other than reheating. W Instead we took advantage of the many offerings to be found in Orillia including Mariposa Market, Tre Sorelle and Wilkie's Bakery. Planning our stay using the VRBO website was user friendly and a complete resource with photos and information, so no unexpected complications or confusion about our choice. We all had a wonderful experience with both the VRBO and the location.

Family Visit

We finally were able to plan a trip to the Orillia area to see our son after over a year. We were so glad to have chosen this property to stay at. Lenny was great to deal with. The house had everything we could have needed and the backyard was beyond our expectations. We can't wait to stay there again.

Great spot and location

For our family vacation it was everything we wanted. Close to the beach, spacious layout and backyard. My daughter loved the swing set which was an added bonus. Lenny was quick to reply with any questions. Worthwhile stay for anyone looking for accommodations

Pleasant winter stay in Orillia

Nice stay, walked down to the lake. Watched ice fishing, did some tobogganing. The house was clean and great, everything in order and all the basics covered.
