Great location... Beware of bugs.

The location is really great and just steps from the water. The pier and shops a short walk away. However, the place was really inhabitable. It is an old house that has been converted to multiple units with strange layouts. There were lots of bugs including coack roaches. The microwave didn't fully work and the kitchen was so gross with bugs, we didn't want to cook in it. Walls were filthy with streaks coming down. I would not recommend booking here.

Stayed for a weekend…great location. Place was worn down needs some up keep. Apt had a musty smell, we found bug traps throughout the apt…then we found a roach crawling on the counter….not a pleasant experience for the price.

I would not go there if I were you. We went from august 4 to 8th. There was cockroaches everywhere inside. Yes it's close from the beach, but it's not worth the price at all.

Location was perfect!

The location was amazing! Walking distance to the pier, and right by the beach! We enjoyed that it was far enough down from the pier that the beach was a bit less crowded but we were still able to walk downtown. The accommodations are very cute and rustic. Some things could use attention, like paint touch ups and the patio table needs replacing… however these were minor issues and we will be back!

COCKROACHES!!!

Checked in earlier in the day and found the door unlocked. Dropped our luggage and left for the rest of day. We came back around 10:30 pm to find cockroaches crawling all over the kitchen walls, floors and counter tops. We quickly packed up our belongings and left for a hotel with our two young children. Isaiah was initially apologetic and responsive. He stated a refund could be processed after Vrbo dropped the funds on our schedule departure date. It’s been over a week and no refund and Isaiah has stopped responding. Avoid this location!!!

Cute but…

Location is amazing. Super cute from the outside. Unit smelled like weed as soon as you walked in. There was what appeared to be blood splatter on the ceiling in one of the rooms. Creepy!!! Nothing matched and finding a used toothbrush and other things on the floor in the bathroom left a yucky feeling. Despite those things, we had a good time. Just wish those couple of things weren’t there.

Made the best of a very disappointing place to stay

100 % of what is provided for the check in process , internet / password and parking permit were wrong. The check in process was horrible, we were told the door was unlocked and the key would be inside. After my family traveled 5 hrs we had to wait outside because the door was locked and it took me over a hour to get inside, mind you there is no key, it is a pin pad ! The property owner did not provide any contact information and I had to have Verbo support look into the situation. Other issues were we discovered they had no bedding for the pull out couch and had to wait unitil the following day to get them, the furniture had kid stickers on them. The interior was not worth the price they are charging.

We are in our 70s and the back stairs were difficult for us. Property was clean but very rustic and I feel it was overpriced for the facility.

Perfect getaway!

Our stay was great and the property was adorable and was exactly as listed! Super close to the beach and in a surprisingly quiet location! Isaiah was super easy to contact and was quick to respond with all my questions!

I can not find the key or the parking pass. I was unable to park my car anywhere close until now. 8:50 at night. All the spots were taken and there is no key to lock up when im gone and no parking pass.

Comfy beach apartment steps from the sand, perfect for a family getaway!

Isaiah was incredible with communication, and so so kind throughout the entire process! We loved the little beach apartment, especially the proximity to the beach itself! The extra parking spot came in super handy for our other vehicle too. We will definitely be back to OOB and will absolutely stay right in our favorite little apartment by the beach!

Very fun!

We stayed for a quick anniversary getaway. We were met with two days of rain, but considering the circumstances, we couldn't have been in a better place. It's perfectly campy and warming to allow us to comfortably sit inside, play cards, and read. When it stopped raining, we were literally a minute from the sand and less than a mile from the pier. It was a wonderful location and a nice and calming few days. Thank you!

Amazing location!!!

Location is practically on the beach… place was clean and was comfortable for my family of 6… area was quiet and peaceful… and only a 10 minute walk to the excitement and crowds of the pier… would definitely return!!!

1 min walk to the beach

If you are looking for a nice place steps from the beach and a 10 min walk from the boardwalk this is a great find. The towels and linens are brand new and while the place is older, the new owners are obviously trying to make upgrades. Communication was seamless and he was consistently responsive when we had questions.

Double Booked

All of our friends from other states came to meet up with us to stay here. We got a phone call at 5pm the night of our stay to find out it was double booked and we could not stay there. We had looked forward to a place that would sleep all 6 of us and we ended up staying somewhere else for hat slept 4. Very frustrating and disappointing!
