"The Congress was my number #1 place for 30 years. It's an older hotel and shows. Doors in my suite don't close or lock correctly. The room wasn't cleaned when requested so my travel mate could make bets if the room was serviced or not by the time we returned. Not even when I called House keeping. We did appreciate the lake view we paid for, but at its high price, I would recommend a newer hotel in the city."

"The rooftops bar and the lobby areas were nice. Had a few problems with the room at check in, after the third try I finally got a okay room.
Staff is okay, not overly friendly. Nothing is complimentary like breakfast compared to surrounding hotels with comparable room prices. Not sure that I would stay there again or recommend to anyone. Location wise, it was great and close to other stores and restaurants."
