"Had a wonderful long weekend with family at this wonderful mountain cottage. "We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at this cabin. It was very clean and well stocked. It was a secluded location, but had good wifi so we were able to stay well connected with family. Would highly recommend this property."

"Perfect for us. We traveled to the area for a family reunion and I needed a place where I could have my dog with me. My daughter needed a kitchen to prepare food for the reunion. And we all had comfortable sleeping arrangements. I would definitely choose this house again when traveling to the Hardy/Grant County area."

"AMAZING outdoor space, but no furniture to enjoy any of the decks. The house is a stunner in a great location, but the furniture is chintzy, cheap, and dirty. The bedroom in the “guesthouse” was dank and had a weird odor. Beds were comfortable, towels were miniature and lacking quality. The owners could make this a gem with some furnishing/linen investments, especially with all the good options around Lost River."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Valley View House. The house is gorgeous and has amazing views. The property had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend visit including soap, shampoo and condiments. The hot tub was huge, and all the furnishings were lovely. We would love to stay again sometime in the future."
