"The hotel is in an excellent location to MUSC, West Ashley, and James Island. Our room had a beautiful view back toward MUSC and the city. The desk agents were friendly and helpful. While the rooms have been updated there needs to be better maintenance given the older nature of the property. I would stay at this property again but I hope they’ll invest in maintenance a bit more."

I still paid full price for a property that wasn’t a complete product that I paid for. Construction ALL day, maybe a couple hours of no construction while we stayed. "I was very disappointed with my stay. The bed sheets smelled strongly of urine, and my room was only cleaned once during my entire stay. There was also a heavy cigarette odor throughout the property, making it unpleasant for families. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty so much so that I did not feel comfortable letting my one-year-old walk on it. Overall, the cleanliness and condition of the hotel did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend it for families with young children....
