Cabana 49 has finally arrived and is ready for occupancy in 2024 with heated pool from May 1 - Oct 31!  This three-story well-planned, designed and crafted 6 Bedroom, 6 Full Bathroom luxury beach house (BR1:1K, BR2:1K, BR3:2Q, BR4:2Q, BR5:2Q, BR6:2Bunks-1T/1F each) is also complemented by 2 more conveniently positioned half bathrooms and an elevator, awaits you, your family and friends for making memories of a lifetime!  Cabana 49 is a vacation resort of its own sleeping comfortably up to 22 guests while ensuring fun for everyone with a to-die-for swimming pool shaded by the natural oaks of the island and backside deck for parents and grandparents to watch the kids while relaxing in an assortment of high-end durable outdoor furniture, a designated cornhole strip on top of feet friendly real grass and an outside grilling area supported by an easily accessed ground level kitchenette. And ensuring fun for everyone also includes up to two additional canine guests who will enjoy their own fenced-in dog run allowing for easy early morning or late-night relief for both pets and Owners without having to go far.  There is nothing far however with an easy walk to the beach to lay in the sun or watch the over the water sunsets, a walk - THAT'S RIGHT A WALK - to the Town of Oak Island recreation center including pickleball courts, free summer Friday night concerts, skateboard park, splash pad and Monday's Farmer's and artisan market!  And what a great location for race events with the start and finish line just a quick stroll away. The Dollar General is a mere half block away and you can shop for groceries at Publix just one block over. You can either dine in at 49th St Grill, Bar & Patio just across the street or relax on the front deck with cold drinks in the evening and listen to their live music in the summertime.  Cabana 49 gives everyone their own getaway with ensuite bathroom privacy, comfortable new beds and plenty of closet space.  Dine in and enjoy your fully equipped kitchen and huge pantry for all your favorite beach treats!  When it’s time to venture out, historic Southport is just minutes away for shopping and dining, and Wilmington and Myrtle Beach are worthy fun side trips for the day or evening.  And EV charging is available just two blocks away! This home and location have it all and now is your chance to reserve a spot for your opportunity to have the vacation of your lifetime!   Departure Maid and linen service included, Saturday to Saturday only in Prime season, minimum 3 and 4 night stays in all other seasons.  Maximum 2 dogs with fee. Overall an excellent experience. Good communication from inquiry to check in, clean spacious house for 5 adults and 5 children, well stocked kitchen with ample dishes for every meal, and clean inviting pool area. It was a short walk to the beach and close to grocery stores. Thank you!

Nice house

House is very nice, loved the pool and locationAfter renting for the past 10 yrs at oak island, we were slightly dissapointed on a few things. Just be aware -No pool toys or beach chairs, kitchen lacking in a few things (waffle iron, mixing bowls), no umbrellas for the pool area, no shades or curtains in kitchen/living area (sun blinds you in the afternoon), lounge chairs at pool are super hard, charcoal grill (had to buy charcoal/lighter fluid that we wont use again), no dish towells, no soap, no sponges etc. I guess we have been spoiled on our previous rentals. So much extra stuff to bring. Pool guy came unannounced when we were getting in pool, and we then had to be out 3 hrs. Overall enjoyed the house.

Great property right by the ocean!

Highly recommend this property for a vacation! Location is perfect with coffee shops, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Beach is a short walk from the house and the pool.area is perfect for hanging out by. We had a great time and would love to visit again!

Memory Maker

Beautiful home in a great location. The house is within walking distance of stores, restaurants and the beach. The family area is large and accommodating. The kitchen is very well stocked and user friendly. The pool area is large with lots of seating and we loved having a full bathroom in all of the bedrooms. Overall a lovely place to make memories.
