Everything you need and more

This house had everything we needed and more! It was clean, well-appointed and it appeared to be recently updated and well cared for. It was a short walk to the beach, and had a lovely screened-in porch with an ocean view. It was a quick walk to Publix, shops and restaurants. The property manager was communicative and wonderful to work with. I would book this property again!

This place was in the perfect location. Very close to restaurants and shops yet, it was still quiet and peaceful. The golf cart was the best part!

Great Getaway

We were looking for a last-minute getaway and this house truly gave us what we needed. We did have a few minor issues, but the property manager immediately responded and not worth mentioning here. The golf cart came in handy when we went to Publix a short distance away. The beach is very walkable. The home is near a gas station and car wash, which in convenient. The only concern was when garbage day came around, it was very loud with the dumpsters nearby. The house had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast each day and went out to the local restaurants for dinner. This was our first time to Oak Island, and I'll definitely go back. The location of this house is perfect. The 3 bedrooms worked out perfectly for a grown daughter in the Mermaid room and the other daughter and a friend in the bunk-bed room. Have 2 full baths was great. We really didn't utilize the outdoor area but it was fairly large. It was so very clean when we arrived. And again the manager of the property was great - we'll book with Better Beach Rentals again!

New Years on Oak Island

Good spot close to the main road. Lots of fun tooling around on the provided golf cart. Walking distance to grocery store and beach. Clean and tidy and everything you need for cooking meals. Washer and dryer lets you pack light. Plenty of towels and linens. Great food at the local restaurants. Good value for the money.

Nice, relaxing getaway

This is a very cute and awesome cottage, and has all the comforts of home. everything that you can think of for cooking, which is normally not found in most homes, etc. Loved the front porch, and will look forward to coming back to this home. loved my stay! :-)
