"Villa Paola is a lovely property, set high above Donnalucata with a view down to the sea. The veranda is well shaded with good seating for eating outside. There is a bbq and a good size kitchen. "The house is very cosy, in a beautiful garden with a pool and stunning views, set among pistachio fields. The owners are wonderful people and very welcoming. The house is about 1 hour from Catania, half a hour from Siracusa and Noto, and maybe 15 minutes to the closest beach. We did day trips in the morning and then relaxed by the pool in the afternoon. However, people that are not used to driving might find the 10 minute drive up curvy and narrow roads challenging."
