The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. "We booked the top floor because it has that attic, Harry Potter feeling. OMG! It is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The room is so beautiful. We felt like we were living in Harry Potter's house, minus where Harry really lived in. Our only wish is that we can live in a place like this permanently. Our kids loved it. It really has that Precious Moments cottage feeling. For me, it really reminded me of the hostel we stayed in Frankfurt, Germany and Britain. The couple that are...

"If you want to unplug a bit and get away this is the place. Very clean cabins. Kitchen had everything you need. Nice sitting area outside with a grill. Very quiet and relaxing with the Yuba River right there. Staff were extremely nice. Our dogs our now depressed we came home. Pretty sure they thought it was our new home. "
