    Spectacular two-story ocean-view home on two acres with covered lanai



    The Space:

    Offering breathtaking ocean views and a prime location in the Hamakua Heritage Corridor, tropical dreams come true at this newer three-bedroom, two-bath getaway. Enjoy a temperate climate, modern amenities including UV-filtered rainwater, and two lush and enchanting acres with friendly sheep the little ones will love to feed. Discover a plethora of nearby attractions, including black sand beaches, tropical gardens, gushing waterfalls, and Volcano National Park. Head 20 minutes into Hilo for an array of culture and cuisine. A sofa and two armchairs set the scene for relaxation in the living area. In the evening, kick back and settle in to enjoy favorite shows on the 60-inch TV. Prepare favorite recipes in the fully equipped kitchen, featuring a host of helpful appliances, including a coffee maker and air-fryer. While dinner simmers away, perch at the island bar with seating for two. When it’s time to eat, gather for fresh meals and ocean views around the four-person dining table.



    The two guest bedrooms offer ocean views. Take delight in the sweeping ocean views on offer from the covered lanai, featuring a bistro table for two and additional seating for three. Find essentials at Papaaloa Country Store & Café (four miles). Head 18 miles into Hilo to discover a host of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Be sure to walk the bridge to Coconut Island, just off Liliuokalani Park & Gardens. Head eight miles to Laupahoehoe Beach Park or 16 miles to Honoli’i Beach Park to spend the day by the rolling surf. Catch views of gushing Akaka Falls (11 miles) or Rainbow Falls (20 miles). Or visit the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden (12.5 miles).

Peaceful and Perfect

After a long day of fun in Hilo town. This house was the perfect peaceful retreat. Lots of space, very clean, so beautiful. There are even goats in the front yard which my six year old thought was the coolest thing ever.

Beautiful views, quiet area

Close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet. There are lovely views and nice breezes. Make sure you call for the lock box code in advance…there’s a keypad you get the code for but also a key lockbox and that code was not provided with check in instructions. Also plan on bringing your own drinking water…one jug was provided which was really nice but you may need more depending on how long you stay. Overall a lovely home and we loved our time there.

We loved the seclusion of the property. It was peaceful and quiet! The porch was wonder to sit on and enjoy the views. It was open and spacious, had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The book with all the o for in it was wonderful.

Favorite place

We loved this place so much! Thoughtful furnishings, a very nice house, but best of all is the location! We saw whales, stars, goats, wild pigs, sunrises, ships and barges, beautiful waves, and fruit trees. It was peaceful and quiet—away from all the people and bustle. But a quick trip to Hilo and other small towns with amenities. Perfect location to go to Volcanoes or just anywhere on the island.

We loved how peaceful the location is. It was well stocked, a large space and had a nice view. Some spices and pantry items were nice to have since the location is remote. The box of cookies was a nice touch. Good value / price compared to similar size places on the island. The goats were nice esp if you have kids. Brochures & top tips guide for restaurants etc was handy. Leaving us sunscreen and lots of towels + nice toiletries was appreciated.
