Maldron Hotel Newcastle
"The room was relatively clean. Few spots in the bathroom with toothpaste on it. Bed was a bit too soft for our liking. When someone moved the whole bed moved. Though despite the noise on the street, you couldn’t hear it in the room. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was good, lots of options."

The County Hotel, Newcastle
"Close to the station. Lovely staff, who appeared to be constantly problem solving a failing property. Things were broken, there was no air conditioning. Staff were as helpful as could be. Better value for money could have been got by walking a little further from the station"

Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa
"Amazing rooms and deco. Fantastic spa with 25m pool and well maintained. Great fun on driving range and sports bar is unreal. Only negative was eggs benedict with hard yolk, not how it should be served. Asian restaurant was ok."

Great looking rooms but only a small selection of small drawers for clothing Good location for main route accessibility Some ants on dressing table when we retuned to room on several occasions Unlikely to stay ..."

Copthorne Hotel Newcastle
"5th floor club room with river view was great; complimentary drinks vouchers on arrival were nice touch. Hotel was overall ok but decor in lobby bar and restaurant are was all a bit bland, could do with a redesign and some comfy seating areas? Decent location just a short walk from some great pubs ..."
