"The rooms was spotless, its a very old building but modern and decorated beautifully, the bathroom was so clean and the shower was nice and powerful. The man was really friendly and the building its self is just amazing, all 5 of us (3 kids ) were impressed. The beds are the comfiest weve ever slept on. 100% would recommend this place . "I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"The location was good and convenient. However, unfortunately, there were several things that could have been better. The breakfast provided was not good at all. It was basically just a small snack left in the room for us each day during the four days we stayed there. I would not consider this a proper breakfast. Also, the bed was very small for two people, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, the location was a positive, but the breakfast and bed size were disappointing."

"We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—right in the heart of all the action and within easy walking distance of so many of Edinburgh’s main sights, restaurants, and shops. It was also very easy to get to from the airport, which made arriving and departing stress-free. The views were fantastic, and the hotel had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a great home base for exploring Edinburgh, and we would happily stay here again!"
