6/10
When I first walked in, the place looked gorgeous with the high ceilings, large tv and the clean room. It had the potential for a 5 Star place. The good points are that it has a nice kitchen with lots of coffee pods, a washer/dryer, dishwasher and plenty of laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, etc. There were plenty of glasses, cups, plates. The problems include there are no drawers of any kind, so all clothes are in and out of the suitcase. There is a closet with a few hangers. There is an ironing board, but no iron. The bathroom sink water has very low water flow. The kitchen supplies include only 3 pots with lids, 2 pans, a Keurig coffee maker, tea kettle, a can opener and 3 spoons and knives and 5 forks and measuring spoons from 1/4 tsp to 1 TBSPN. That's it. There is no pasta strainer, no mixing spoons, no measuring cup, no wine opener, no containers, no salad bowl, no ice cube tray, nothing else. When asked to supply a pasta strainer and ice cube tray, they refused. The worst part was that the Futon is next to the wall near the entrance. There is a door alarm that chimed every 10 seconds for 4 nights of our stay. It is loud enough to hear throughout the entire place. Even with the AC and fan on, it can still be heard all through the apartment. Sleeping on the futon with the door alarm chiming every 10 seconds was difficult. I messaged the owners multiple times, but it was clear that they either could not get through to the management, or the management was not responsive. Because of the negatives, this is actually a 2.5 star, but I rounded up to a 3 star. So sad because the place had a lot of potential to be a fantastic place. If they could spend a few buck for a some drawers and kitchen supplies, it could much better.
