The space was a great size for two people. We appreciated how clean the apartment was and had no issues with the code/getting in to the apartment. We didn’t cook while we were there but the kitchen had a large variety of spices and essentials. We really loved have the Brita and a full sized fridge. The location was very walkable to one of the trolley lines and a few bars/restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Less than optimal

This property was selected because of the excellent reviews on vrbo. My substandard experience seems to be an anomaly for this property. The unit was well equipped. Off street parking a plus! Check in was easy. On the down side, the property clearly wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival – including a used towel in the bathroom, trash in a bin, dirty plates in the cabinet, and uncleaned oven. The fridge didn’t work - ice trays placed in the freezer didn’t freeze 3 days later. The bedroom door lower hinge was held on by one screw – which came out by our final day. The host was quickly responsive to messages but due the holiday weekend she was unable to address our issues. I wouldn’t stay here again, but, again, my experience doesn’t seem typical for other guests.

Cozy nest in excellent location

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. It was easy to get where we wanted on foot, in the bus that stopped across the street, or on the streetcar just a few blocks away. There were several good places to eat close by, with helpful recommendations from our hostess.

Nice 2 night getaway in Nola

This apartment is just a short ride to all the action near Canal Street.. we booked an upstairs unit with free parking. It's a comfortable 1 bedroom, plus living room/kitchen with TV and Wi-Fi, and a quick walk to St. Charles St. Streetcar line.

Pleasant family visit

We found our unit very clean, well stocked, everything working properly. Its art depicted local culture which was fun. Samantha, the manager was right on cue with all our information and immediately responsive to any questions. The area was typical NOLA. Off street parking was a big plus. We would stay there again

Very Helpful

The place was clean and ready for us aside from blood stains on the sheets. The manager was super helpful and got back to us immediately. She sent someone over who arrived in 45 minutes to change the sheets to brand new ones. There were high school band students practicing for 2 hours in the lot across the road, which was a bit of a downside, but it only occurred one evening of the 3 we were there. Check in and check out were very easy. Overall, we liked the place and enjoyed our stay.

Convenient & Quiet

Everything was clean and communication was easy with the host. It was a quick walk to the main area. There's some great places to eat in the area and the street car is convenient. Along the walk some of the streets had quite a bit of trash, but overall the stay was excellent. It was also nice to have our own parking space available.

This was a small but tidy and well-equipped bnb. I appreciated the onsite parking and felt safe in the area. The owner responded quickly when contacted. I would definitely stay there again.

Great to stay!!!

I will start by saying upon arrival I was a little nervous at the area. But only becuz I was traveling alone and it was in the wee hours of the morning when I arrived. Check in was easy, convenient and easy. The building is as described very welcoming. The apt is super cute and the perfect amount of space for a couple or single occupant. It literally is 2 miles from the French quarters and the casino. I felt safe and after I woke up seen it’s located next to other businesses I felt comfortable. Police do drive by multiple times. Not too many people just outside or walking around. It is no smoking!!!! Also it has everything you need… for the kitchen it’s literally like being at ur home. Thanks Samantha.

Great first time experience

Place is cozy and very clean. Just like in the pics. With all the necessary stuff included. Easy to check in, and the parking right up front was nice touch. Fairly close drive to Bourbon street. Will def stay here again.

Perfect for all the right reasons

This place was very affordable and right on the edge of the Garden district. My husband and I were able to walk to the Garden District, the WWII museum, Lafayette Park, and even the French Quarter. Walking allowed us to take in all the sights! There is a Wal-Mart near by (5 minute drive). We also found many restaurants and bars in walking distance. We very much enjoyed our time. The unit was clean. It was perfect for the two of us.

It was a fail

As a disclaimer: I never stepped foot into this property (I filled out the cleanliness bit because I was forced). This place is a scam! I specifically booked it because it advertised a parking spot in a lot in front of the building. After driving for 8 hours, I showed up to the building and the sidewalk to the lot was completely destroyed, thus making the parking lot inaccessible and NOBODY affiliated with this property said a PEEP about it. I immediately call on the number provided, and I proceed to have a back-and-forth with someone affiliated with this property. They claimed that they had just found out the day before about this construction, but from my end, I found the lack of communication to be very unprofessional. The most they could offer, besides refunding me without charges, was AT MOST $50 (whoever I spoke to literally chuckled in a sort of, as I took it, condescending manner when I asked whether it was $50 refunded per night) and camera footage in case something happened to my car that now would've been parked on the street. I was also originally offered to stay for one night and then perhaps I can go look elsewhere. The last option seemed the most reasonable because I was bone-tired and I wanted to research a bit for other places. I kid you not, not even 5 or 10 minutes passed, this same person called me to inform that the owner had heard that someone else's car window (or windows?) got smashed. He didn't feel comfortable having me stay there, SO THEY CANCELLED MY RESERVATION RIGHT THEN AND THERE. No sort of help in finding another place. I, literally parked in front of this godforsaken property, had to scramble and find other accommodations. No sense of compassion at all. May the owner, and whoever else is affiliated with this property, have the business that they deserve.

I was in town for a law conference and picked this property because it was a short drive. The owner was excellent and accommodating. The unit was wonderful and gave a nice relaxing vibe. Anything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again..
