And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. The space
Natural light pours through the windows of this spacious single-level home, where classic New Orleans character meets the kind of practical comfort that makes a big group feel at ease. There are no stairs to navigate, a private entrance off the street, and room-darkening shades in every bedroom so late risers can sleep undisturbed. Ceiling fans, central air conditioning, and central heating keep things comfortable year-round.
 
Sleeping arrangements
Five bedrooms sleep up to 10 guests across 6 beds, each room outfitted with quality bed linens and blackout shades for restful nights. Three full bathrooms - each stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hair dryer, and hot water - mean mornings run smoothly even for larger groups. A bathtub is available for longer soaks, and clothing storage, hangers, and an iron are on hand throughout the home.
 
Kitchen & dining
The chef's kitchen is equipped for real cooking - a Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and microwave are all here, alongside cooking basics like pots, pans, oil, salt, and pepper. A drip coffee maker comes stocked with coffee, the toaster and baking sheet handle morning routines, and the dining table brings everyone together for shared meals. Dishes, silverware, bowls, plates, and cups are fully provided.
 
Living & entertainment
The living area centers on a 32-inch HDTV with Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, and Roku built in. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace in a common area keep remote workers and business travelers connected. An Ethernet connection is available for faster speeds. Families traveling with little ones can request a pack 'n play (sheets provided) and a standalone high chair with food tray - and babysitter recommendations are available if you need a night out.
 
Outdoor living
The fully fenced private backyard is one of the home's standout features. Fire up the private gas BBQ grill, gather around the fire pit as the evening cools, set up a game of cornhole, or simply unwind at the outdoor dining area surrounded by outdoor furniture. The private patio or balcony extends your living space outdoors - New Orleans evenings are made for exactly this.
 
Parking & practicalities
Free driveway parking for up to 3 cars is included on the premises, with additional free street parking available. In-unit washer and dryer, essentials (towels, bed sheets, soap, toilet paper), a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are all provided. Exterior security cameras are present on the property to prevent over-occupancy and parties. Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival easy, and cleaning during your stay is available on request. Long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome.

Sitting in Mid-City, the home puts you 0.7 miles from the Superdome and minutes from the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Trader Joe's, and the Lafitte Greenway. The Canal Street streetcar is steps away, connecting you quickly to the city's top attractions and neighborhoods.
