Steps to Endymion and Zulu Parades during Mardi Gras!
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks, including Jackson Sqaure (2.1 Miles), Caesar's Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.0 Miles), The National WWII Museum (2.9 Miles), and City Park (4.0 Miles).

★ Having so many bedrooms and bathrooms made our group stay super easy.
Mid-City has a rhythm all its own - second lines drifting through the neighborhood, the streetcar humming past live oaks, and the kind of front-porch energy that makes you slow down the moment you arrive. This five-bedroom home puts you right in the middle of it, with enough space to spread out and a backyard that turns every evening into an event.
Living space
The main living areas are open and light-filled, designed for groups who want to be together without feeling on top of each other. Ceiling fans keep the air moving, room-darkening shades let you sleep in after a late night on Frenchmen Street, and Smart TVs give you something to settle into when the city calls for a quieter evening. A dedicated workspace in a common area covers remote work or itinerary planning, and fast Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected throughout.
Sleeping arrangements
Five bedrooms sleep up to ten guests comfortably. Four rooms each feature a king bed dressed in plush linens, while the fifth offers two single beds - a practical setup for families or mixed groups. Three full bathrooms, including private and Jack-and-Jill configurations, are complemented by a half bath on the main floor, so mornings stay low-stress even with a full house.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is built for real cooking. A Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove and oven anchor the space, supported by a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, hot water kettle, drip coffee maker, and toaster. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, and a baking sheet mean you can go from a full breakfast spread to a dinner party without a grocery run for equipment. Pull up a chair at the dining table for shared meals, or start the morning slower at the breakfast bar with coffee already provided.
Outdoor living
Step out onto the private balcony when you want a moment to yourself, or head down to the fully fenced backyard when the group is ready to gather. The outdoor space is set up for long evenings - fire pit, BBQ grill, dining area, and cornhole all included. Outdoor furniture invites you to linger well past sunset, and the privacy of the fenced yard means you can do it at your own pace.
Bathrooms
Each bathroom is stocked with the essentials: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hot water, and a hair dryer. A bathtub is available for a proper soak after a full day of festival-going or exploring the Quarter.
Family-friendly features
Traveling with young children? A pack 'n play/travel crib with sheets and a folding high chair with padding, straps, and food tray are both available upon request. Babysitter recommendations can also be arranged.
Parking & location
A private driveway accommodates two vehicles, and free street parking is available beyond that. Trader Joe's is close by for stocking up on arrival. The home sits steps from the Endymion parade route and the streetcar line, with the French Quarter just minutes away - a location that makes Carnival season, Jazz Fest, and everyday New Orleans exploration equally effortless.
Laundry & home safety
An in-unit washer and dryer, iron, hangers, and clothing storage in each room keep longer stays comfortable. The home is equipped with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and exterior security cameras - in place to ensure compliance with local occupancy regulations.
Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.
