And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This three-bedroom first-floor unit in a classic New Orleans duplex gives you a real home base: private, comfortable, and well-positioned for everything the city has to offer.

The living space
A bright living room anchors the common area, centered around a 45-inch HDTV with Netflix and access to your own streaming apps. Central air conditioning and ceiling fans keep the space comfortable throughout your stay, while room-darkening shades make sleeping in after a late night out on the town entirely possible. A dedicated workspace with a door offers a quiet, separated area when you need to focus - fast Wi-Fi and an Ethernet connection keep everyone online.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests across three beds. Bed linens, towels, and essentials are all provided, along with hangers, clothing storage, and an iron for longer visits. The unit welcomes long-term stays of 28 days or more.

Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen handles everything from a quick breakfast to a proper multi-course meal. Appliances include a refrigerator, freezer, electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. You'll also find cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, a baking sheet, and coffee on hand.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms mean no morning queues. Both are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, a hair dryer, and cleaning products. One includes a bathtub for a longer soak when the day calls for it.

Extras that matter
An in-unit washer and dryer handle laundry without a trip out. A patio or balcony gives you an outdoor spot to unwind. Self check-in via smart lock means a smooth, flexible arrival. Free street parking is available on a single-level layout with no interior stairs. Families traveling with little ones can request a pack 'n play with sheets and a folding high chair with padding and harness - babysitter recommendations are also available. Exterior security cameras are present on the property.

The neighborhood
Mid-City sits just 0.9 miles from the Superdome and Smoothie King Center - an easy walk or quick ride for game days and concerts. The Canal Street streetcar stop is steps away, connecting you to the French Quarter, Downtown, and the City of the Dead cemeteries. The Lafitte Greenway, a 2.6-mile trail running from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue, passes right through the neighborhood and leads to local cafés, a micro-brewery, and several po' boy shops. Ruby Slipper Café is a short walk for a classic New Orleans brunch. Jackson Square sits 1.5 miles out, the National WWII Museum 2.8 miles, and Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 around 3 miles away. When Mardi Gras season arrives, the home is steps from the Endymion and Zulu parade routes.
