* Surrounded by the beautiful oak trees that have made uptown famous, you’ll love the neighborhood, the people, and the ambiance.
* Be sure to visit the interesting shops and wonderful restaurants in the Riverbend at St. Charles and along Maple and Oak Streets
* Roberts (a grocery store) and Walgreens drugstore are located on the corner of S. Carrollton Ave and S. Claiborne Ave (a quick drive or street car ride away). * If you choose to drive to the Cottage there is convenient off street parking available.
* Don’t want to drive around the city? Leave your car parked and jump on the St. Charles Ave. streetcar line to get to downtown, Audubon Park, the French Quarter, the Convention area and Bourbon Street. Uber and Cab services can also provide quick access to much of the city within minutes.
* Several restaurants and bars are within walking distance (Boucherie, Bourree, Lebanon Café, Thai Mint, Panchita's, Pho Bistro, Oak Wine Bar, Ale, Jacques Imo's, Chiba, Ninja). Oak St. is 5 short blocks away with bars and great local restaurants. The world famous original Camellia Grill is a short drive away on S. Carrollton.

Excellent Property

We stayed for 2 nights for our daughters graduation at Tulane. The house is extremely well maintained and very convenient to Tulane.The host is responsive and quick to help.We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here to move our daughter out of her dorm and then to storage. Place was great. Very helpful to have a parking spot. Place was clean, quiet and convenient.

It was a nice place and worked out perfectly. The decor was clean and elegant and was within easy walking distance of various places I was going. I didn’t use the kitchen or living room much but it was good to have them available. It’d be perfect for two people.

We’ve stayed here on several occasions and the property owner is very helpful & thinks of the little things you might forget while traveling(travel toothpaste, toothbrush, ect)

Cute, clean, comfy and cozy

Wonderful stand alone cottage in a very nice part of New Orleans. Weekend visit with my daughter/Tulane student. Close to campus, restaurants, and the street car. Host Matt was very easy to reach, responsive and helpful.

I didn't do any cooking. Part of why I go to New Orleans is to eat at the restaurants. The coffee maker and microwave both worked. The AC worked fine which is good because it was unseasonably warm. Great location on streetcar line. Matt, our host, was great. He was very nice and understanding when we locked ourselves out! Sorry, Matt, I'm an idiot.

Second stay was as good as the first

We stayed at the cottage for the second year in a row. It is still a gem in a great area away from the craziness that is sometimes New Orleans. It is comfortable and as advertised. Near great places to eat and (especially if you have a car) convenient to places to visit.

Great cottage, comfortable and clean for a family of 3. Close to St. Charles streetcar. Walk to music (Maple Leaf), coffee, restaurants and a grocery store. We are repeat customers. Host is great!

Small but nice

This cottage is well located with parking. The cottage is limited to 2 guests. The cottage is nice. However, the kitchen is very small and makes it hard to cook.

The property is located in a verg very nice neighborhood with gorgeous surroundings and many nice restaurants in walking distance. We felt very safe and enjoyed the easy access to the trolley to take us to the convention center and french quarter. Matt, the hostess was super sweet and responsive..

A perfect place for us to stay as we were visiting our son! Matt was so welcoming and gave us several recommendations for restaurants. He was very responsive to messages and quickly solve a little problem with the water heater! Couldn’t want anything more!

Third’s a Charm

This was our third time staying at this cottage. We had one teen with us and the pullout couch worked great. The host is accommodating and responsive when needed. The “Repeat Stays” says it all!

We loved this place. It was the perfect location for us, it was so central to everything. We were within 15 min of wherever we wanted to go. The house is so quaint and beautiful, full of character. The on street parking was plentiful but we used their private driveway to park. Check in and check out was super simple. We were there for Taylor Swift, so it was a busy weekend.

Great uptown cottage

Comfortable one-bedroom cottage with a private back yard, right on the streetcar line. Safe neighborhood, great location walking distance to multiple restaurants, bars, music venues. Carrollton is a quiet, residential area close to Tulane and Loyola Universities. If you're looking for the madness of the French Quarter this isn't for you, BUT the madness is only a scenic streetcar ride away! I'd definitely stay there again.
