Uptown New Orleans has a rhythm all its own - streetcars rumbling down St. Charles, the scent of coffee drifting from Magazine Street, and front porches made for slow mornings. This three-bedroom home drops you right into the heart of it, in a neighborhood that feels like the real New Orleans rather than a postcard of it.
Living space Tall ceilings draw your eye upward the moment you step inside, where original millwork and hardwood floors carry the unmistakable character of historic Uptown architecture. Natural light moves through the home throughout the day, keeping the atmosphere bright and easy. The layout flows naturally between the living and dining areas, giving the group room to spread out and settle in.
Sleeping arrangements Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests, arranged to offer privacy and flexibility for families or groups of friends. Each room is set up with crisp bed linens, ample clothing storage, hangers, and ceiling fans to keep things comfortable through warm Louisiana nights. A drying rack for clothing and an iron are also available for longer stays.
Kitchen & dining The renovated kitchen is well-equipped for everything from a quick morning coffee to a full group dinner. Quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances set the stage, while the full suite of cookware covers everything you need - cooking basics including pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper, dishes and silverware, a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, hot water kettle, coffee maker, toaster, blender, baking sheet, and wine glasses. Coffee is provided. Pull up a chair at the dining table and let the day unfold.
Bathroom Two full bathrooms keep things comfortable for a group of six. Both are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and cleaning products, with hot water and a hair dryer on hand. A bathtub is available for a longer soak when the day calls for it.
Outdoor & parking Step out onto the front porch for your morning coffee or a quiet evening wind-down - this is Uptown, and porch life is part of the deal. The fenced backyard offers a relaxed outdoor space with outdoor furniture for lingering. Gated off-street parking is included, a genuinely rare find in this part of the city, and free street parking is also available nearby.
Location Steps from St. Charles Avenue and Magazine Street, the home puts you within easy walking distance of streetcar stops, neighborhood cafés, local boutiques, and some of the best Mardi Gras parade routes in the city. The area is walkable and residential - a strong base whether you're here for a festival weekend, a family trip, or simply exploring what Uptown has to offer.
Additional amenities The home is equipped with air conditioning, heating, a washer and dryer, high chair, fast WiFi, Ethernet connection, TV, and a private entrance with smart-lock self check-in. All home safety essentials are in place - smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Breakfast is provided. Long-term stays of 28 days or more are welcome.

Great location ! Off street parking was a huge plus ! Loved the French bakery on Magazine and the small grocery store on Prytania. Easy to grab food to set up in the house as well as walk to a great place for iced coffee/quiche/pastries. Host was easy to reach with questions.

I helped my 80-year-old mother-in-law rent this property for a girlfriend getaway—the first girls' trip she had taken in a long time. The property manager was terrific, ensuring the ladies could enter the house. He even offered to meet them there, which is next-level service. My MIL said the stairs to the entrance were a little tricky for her balance, but she loved the inside of the property and the location. I would highly recommend based on the communication with the property manager and my MIL's feedback.

This was supposed to be a fun weekend meeting a friend who I hadn’t seen in 35 years. It was a very cold weekend in New Orleans, and we arrived in the afternoon and went out to explore the city. We spent the entire afternoon and evening enjoying the sites and returned and found that there was no heat in the house. Instead of being able to spend time together, we ended up huddled in our rooms, trying to stay warm. The management company remotely “reset” the thermostat but it did not fix the problem. We also found that there was no water pressure in one of the bathrooms, making showering impossible. We found three small space heaters in the home so ended up in each of the bedrooms trying to stay warm all night. The next morning was absolutely miserable as the house was freezing, and six people had to share one bathroom. They had promised to send a technician to fix the heat, but did not fix the heat. Later that afternoon they sent an offer to have us moved to a different home, but we were already out and rather than waste of the time having to go back, repack, and find a new home, we declined the offer. They did not fix the heat and have offered little in terms of any service recovery. They did not fix the water pressure in the bathroom. This was supposed to have been a fun weekend, but turned into a nightmare; we paid a significant amount for two nights in an unlivable, terrible environment. Absolutely will not rent this property or rent from this company in the future.

Easy communication with host. Location was great. Walking distance to everything imaginable. Off street parking a plus. Gets chilly during winter months but plenty of space heaters on site. Quiet neighborhood and friendly community. Well be back!!!
