This luxurious retreat features three bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a bonus room with two futon couches that convert into additional single beds, complete with 3" foam toppers for added comfort. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen where you can brew coffee or prepare delicious meals using provided spices, oils, and cooking utensils. Step onto your private deck to admire breathtaking views of Kootenay Lake, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. Nestled within a private beachfront property, our duplexes offer a serene atmosphere. On-site amenities include secure parking, high-speed WiFi, and access to beach toys like canoes and kayaks for water adventures. Afterward, unwind by the gas fireplace or stream shows on the Smart TV. For larger groups, consider combining your stay with the nearby Kootenay and Kaslo Suites on the same property. Kootenay offers two floors with 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a sunken hot tub on the deck with lake views. Kaslo features 2 bedrooms, a private hot tub, and BBQ facilities, making it ideal for extended family gatherings or group retreats. Our family of 7 were very comfortable for our 8 day stay. The hosts were easy to get along with and everything worked out perfectly. Having access to paddle boards, kayaks, canoe, and pedal boat was amazing. We would be happy to book again sometime. Julia and family

Property was what we needed. Clean and in a great location. The water toys were a huge hit. We were able to go canoe on the water and catch some fish.

The property has a pretty view and the property itself is fine. It was relatively clean but it was very disorganized and messy outside the property. There was garbage and junk around outside the property. It did not look nice when you entered into the property with all the junk around. We got this property on the assumption that it was an accessible property based on the pictures as we had someone in a wheelchair. We were informed the day of check in that it had stairs down to the entrance. We asked the property owner to accommodate and she opened their gate for us to go through but every time she was reluctant and not very accommodating. The property owner yelled at the guests for supposedly leaving slippers outside when it did not even belong to our guests. And was upset that we had to use the gate to enter and exit our individual by wheelchair. At the end there was miscommunication about the departure time and the property owner again came and yelled at our guests.

Beautiful spot! Hard to beat. Nice and peaceful. Great location with an amazing view. Shelley is an excellent host who is a great communicator. Great layout for a family vacation. The beach toys were a real hit with the kids and made it a very fun spot for them to be. Played for hours in the water.

Perfect spot!

Shelley’s place is in an absolutely beautiful location super close to Nelson. With 3 couples, this setup worked perfectly with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We loved sitting on the deck bird watching and hope to be back in the summertime to swim and enjoy that beach!

Great beach front property

My coworkers stayed here for a few nights while in town for business. There was some noise on the first night that was resolved by contacting the host. My coworkers appreciated the easy waterfront access and being able to go for a swim each morning and evening. The deck with BBQ and spacious living area were great. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware and dishes, and a big fridge. Although the dishwasher didn't seem to be working. The bed configuration wasn't exactly as we hoped, so we ended up getting a hotel room for 2 of the 5 guests who planned on staying. They needed more privacy. One of the bedrooms with 2 single beds didn't have a door, and opened to the dining/living area. The layout would probably work well for a family though. Thanks to the host for great consistent communication and fast responses. We would likely book this (downstairs of a) house again for future work trips, knowing that it would be suitable for 3 guests.
