Welcome to Northside Cottage



This is a brand new listing for us in mid 2022. Experienced host with thousands of reviews on other properties.



This 1940’s classic Tennessee cottage, nestled on over an 1 acre, was renovated in 2022 and is just 25 mins to downtown Nashville or the airport. Easily grab an Uber to Broadway, enjoy a day out on Old Hickory Lake (just 10 mins away), or visit one of your favorite sporting teams in town while having a great place to call home.



It features beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing with family and friends and includes a great selection of sleeping arrangements.



The main level is a large open area including a spacious living room that flows seamlessly into the dining area and stunning kitchen. To the rear there is access to a great sized covered back porch that includes a large sectional couch and additional table seating for 4. To the front is your quintessential Tennessee covered front porch to slowly watch the world pass you by! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are also located on this main level.



The upstairs features 2 nearly identical bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a laundry room. Our upstairs bedrooms are known as our ‘Bunk Rooms’. Both feature 3 full size beds, one of which is stacked in a bunk formation. We do advise that although each of these rooms can accommodate sleeping 6, the upper bunk is designed to fit children only.

Bedroom 1 - Queen bed. En-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. (Sleeps 2)



Bedroom 2 - 2 x Full Size Beds. Bathroom is located directly opposite this room and it features a walk-in shower. (Sleeps 4)



Upstairs Bedroom 3 - 3 x Full Size Beds. (Top bed is designed to sleep kids only). En-suite Bathroom with tub/shower combo (Sleeps up to 6. 4 Adults & 2 Children)

Our family met in Hendersonville for Thanksgiving. The house was in a great location for us. Communication with Jonny, the manager was excellent! Other things we loved was having a bathroom for every bedroom, the fun bunkbeds upstairs, there was plenty of seating in the living room for watching the Packer game, and the large dining room table. Everyone loved the Ms.Packman game, too! The house was clean and it was really nice having a grill on the back porch. Just a couple of improvements---more hand towels for the bathrooms would be nice, and the floors were in rough shape. Overall, it is a great house and we had a wonderful time!

Amazing!

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO and hope to return one day. It was in the perfect location for our stay, and the bunk beds were a huge hit with the younger members of our group. There are board games and an arcade machine available to use. Having four bathrooms was perfect, and the back porch/yard was the perfect spot to hang out. We cooked our meals in the VRBO and had everything we needed. The management team was super responsive and quick to get back to us to answer questions.

Overall it was a great stay. Supplies in house were very minimal. House could use mats at the doors to wipe your feet, no hooks to hang towels, no dressers or shelves to put things on, and could use some luggage racks. Also one bathroom did not have hot water at all.

The school house

Bus traps all over with spiders in them. Caught 3 mice first 2 days. They responded quickly and took care of the issue. Dining chair near window needs some glue on rung that slips out. One bedroom needs bed repaired on main floor. Spacious and nicely appointed. Linens are cheap and pilled. There was 1 hand towel for bathroom. Abundant supply of needed essentials. No curtains on entire back of house and all the back & front doors are glass so no nighttime privacy or security when glass can be broken.The deck and porch are very nice. There is a fire pit and a grill. Nice furniture on back- rocking chairs on front. The dishwasher doesn’t fit well under the cabinet so it is a toss up for starting. Well supplied with dishes, cooking utensils and silverware-needs some steak knives. Bathrooms are nice. Laundry is upstairs. All in all it was a 7.5 and could be a 9 with a few minor changes.

Great space

Our worship team was in Nashville for a conference. The space accommodated 13 people very well. We did not expect bunk bed type rooms upstairs because they were not in photos. However, everyone enjoyed their stay.

Great Visit - Beautiful Home

We had a great visit! Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space for all. We had a small issue with the downstairs unit upon arrival but the owner was very prompt at responding and resolved the issue quickly. Communication was great!! Minor things that need addressing (but certainly would not stop us from highly recommending), were the loose bottom cabinet doors. They need to be tightened. Possibly an upgrade on cookware as that was a little challenging for someone like me that likes too cook a lot. More kitchen wash clothes and towels are certainly needed. These were very sparse. This is an older home that has been restored. Loved the layout and the space. Three of the bedrooms have their own bath. The bedroom with the two beds downstairs has a bath directly across from the bedroom. Large walk in showers DS and shower/tub combo US. The shower faucets were a little tricky to get the hot water flowing but once we figured it out, no issues. We liked the easy access to be able to back up and unload easily. Plenty of parking. Plenty of room for the littles to run and play. Beautiful home!! We enjoyed our stay!!

Perfect for large groups!

We had family and a few friends all together for the weekend. The house fit out perfectly and we loved using the back porch. It was just a short drive to Nashville which was perfect. Would stay again!

Perfect Thanksgiving Haven

We traveled to Hendersonville to join some extended family for Thanksgiving and were able to fit all of us in this one happy home. We even enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast over the large dining table. The top bedrooms hold so many more beds then we realized and we could have fit even more of us. As a mom I appreciated the simplicity of the home as it was very safe for our kids and located right next to a school. We even walked over to the playground several times during our stay. We will definitely be returning to this spot!
