"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"This was a lovely self catering apartment in a quiet location. The apartment was fitted with everything I needed and the woodburner made it warm and cozy in the evenings."

"Good quiet location a few minutes walk to the city centre. Our room was clean and spacious but very scuffed around the edges. The bed was really hard and, as I have a lower back problem, I didn't get much sleep. The coffee and croissants each morning were an added bonus.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but one person was a bit surly.
Car parking was £15 per night, not overly expensive, but most of the spaces were very tight to get into.
Overall a reasonable place to stay."

"Great location, clean apartment but a couple of marks on the sofa and the walls. Few essentials missing too like tea towels, oven gloves and a hair dryer. But overall good place to stay"
