"Very basic breakfast."

"The room felt muggy in spite of turning down the temperature and opening windows, we could not sleep. Soon after arrival there was loud drilling next door as they did repairs, then a strange man knocked on the door because he wanted to check our toilet for "stickers." The breakfast was a huge disappointment. We stayed here some years ago and remembered it as great but alas it is now the same wet eggs and soggy bacon you can get anywhere. "Comfortable basic motel in Forrest. Clean, comfortable bed, well located just 10 minutes walk to Manuka and restaurants. Supplied some crockery and cutlery which was useful."

"The property location was excellent but the cleanliness of the room was very poor. The headboard, couch, and carpet were all stained. The sheet had a small tear in it. The wardrobe had a pile of dust, and the bathroom floor under the vanity hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Room 111."

"Positives: Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of onsite parking. Negatives: Had to go up and down the outside stairs in the pouring rain to take my luggage up to the room from my car. Got quite wet. The mattress was very firm. Did not sleep very well the first few nights. The grout between a lot of the tiles in the shower cubicle was riddled with black mould. A good dose of bleach or domestos was definitely needed. The carpet is in need of a clean. There were many dirty patches and spots from...

"I traveled for business, but the room didn't have a suitable chair to work at the desk/bench from. It was no problem getting one. Parking is good and is a reliable place to stay."

"Nice size family room, however needs more attention to detail in the room. Ie our room was missing pans to cook, the hair dryer was broken, missing a few glasses. Also our room wasn't cleaned despite putting the sign up asking for a clean. However the location was really good, right next to restaurants, fast food, shopping, public transport, rooms were clean. The help yourself cupboard for supplies ie teas, milk, towels etc is a great idea!"

"This hotel is now getting a little dated. My shower wa pretty old. The reality is that it was cheap to stay here and for the cost it was excellent. I am happy to have affordable nice accomodation. At the end of the day it is somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was dry md pretty ordinary."

"Constant power outages , club staff at the time were rude and overheard them complaining about my call to them , talking to reception. Completely taken out of context to make them feel justified to whinge about it. Was appalled at that club staffer. Did not enter the club that visit."
