Neat and nostalgic, Viola is a charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage in the heart of Nags Head. Just a short 5 minute walk to easy public beach access, this home is such a great value. In addition to proximity to the ocean, Viola is only steps from lots of shopping, dining and recreational options including the Outer Banks YMCA and Dowdy Park.
**Please note that the VRBO service fee will be instantly charged upon booking by VRBO but all rents, host fees, and taxes will be processed by Cola Vaughan Realty within 24 hours of booking and Cola Vaughan Realty will handle all the details of your stay**

The house was great, as was the location, five minute walks from two beach access points.We would return.

Needs some TLC! Vrbo increased the cost.

Property was made to look much better than it is. "Clean" but smelled like a wet dog in the kitchen- living room. Splintery deck work. Outdated photos online. Needs painting. Walls are dirty and needs ceiling repair. Front door is dirty and not painted. The screen door works in the wrong direction. Door has window in it so is not code or secure and without privacy. Sliding doors and screens do not work properly. Refrigerator has improper top self. It will move slightly and dump anything that was on it. Refrigerator rusty finish. Bathrooms have old countertops and are grimy moldy in cervices. Toilet seats need replacing. Rusty range hood. Silverware looks like it was bought at a yard sale. Old and two or three different sets. Old pots and pans. Sticky plates. Upstairs has nice new carpet. Hole in bedroom door. Second floor poorly remodeled bath with almost unusable and not code compliant toilet spacing. Garage area unswept and charcoal grill mess. Can be noisy with traffic on main street. Next to weird building at end of street. A nice little cottage that needs some TLC. I will never use Vrbo again.

Beach Trip 2023

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Multiple access points to the beach within a short walking distance. Very affordable and very clean! Would definitely stay here again!

Great visit

We enjoyed our stay! The location was amazing! The coffee shop out front is AMAZING!! plus the ice cream shop made snack time easy. My only complaint was that the beds really need replace or mattress toppers put on my back hurts a little. Otherwise this property was well maintained and in the perfect location.

Uncomfortable furniture

Very dated. The owner needs to spend some money to upgrade living room furniture. Outside railings are splintered which is very dangerous. Bathroom shower curtain was moldy. SPEND SOME $$.

Comfy Cottage

Vrbo is great to work with - easy property look up, booking & communication. The cottage was as described and perfect for our group. There are more steps than expected. Kitchen is big (icemaker is a huge +). Upstairs full bathroom is very small. Fab decks! Property could use better pillows, more light and maybe a fan or two, but overall, was very nice cottage.
